A patient for over 20 years
My first visit to Dr. Gadol was in 2002, when I was referred by my long-time General Practitioner due to overwhelming chest pain after ruling out heart problems. Dr. Gadol has always been easy to communicate with about problems and his explanations and recommendations are always both easy to understand and focused on the patient. He found my problem in 2002 was severe acid reflux and has kept me from further problems with it ever sinceSince 2002, he has saved me from precancerous intestinal problems more than once. And for ten years or so, my wife has been his patient, too. She had been referred by her physician to someone else, but knowing my respect for Dr. Gadol, went to him instead. His office is quiet and easy to get to. Overall, a visit always shows a caring and experienced staff.

Most attentive in a long time
Dr Gadol is very old school in a good way. He takes all the time necessary to complete a history. His attention to detail is amazing in this day and age. Dr Gadol was very compassionate and genuinely concerned with me about my medical issues. He seems like one of the smartest docs I have been with in quite a long time.

Highly recommend and trust Dr. Gadol
Dr. Gadol is a wonderful Gastroenterologist. Not only is he my physician, but I recommend him to many of my patients as well. He can promptly get you scheduled for routine screenings like colonoscopies which are very important. He has helped save many lives through early detection of colon cancer and is always going to conferences to stay up to date on the latest medical developments.

Dr. Gadol's office is completely disorganized. They only operate via fax and consistently lose perscription requests. Dealing with this staff has been a nightmare. I recommend finding another practitioner. Everytime I call to facilitate a resolution we get the response from the receptionist that "they will get to it when they are done with clinicals". Obviously there is a staffing issue that needs to be taken care of or this doctor needs to retire because he is incapable of running an office.

Great Gastroenterologist!
The first time I met Dr Gadol was after my wife had a upper and lower scope. The doctor that was doing the lower scope had asked Dr Gadol to do the upper. When he met us in the recovery room he showed us what he had done, explained what we were looking at in the pictures, and was genuinely concerned that Mari (my wife) was doing better. He showed a great deal of compassion and care, and I was genuinely impressed.Fast forward a couple of years and I had to have my gall bladder removed. After the procedure, I started having all sorts of issues. Dr Gadol was again recommended, and I remembered him from Mari's procedure. When I visited Dr Gadol for my conditions, he impressed me with the thoroughness of the examination. After several tests, he identified the problem and we have been adjusting medications and diet to mitigate the situation, with a high degree of success. Honestly, the issues I have now are when I stray from the dietary restrictions too far. He has helped both my

Cute 4 An Older Guy
Dr. Gadol was very attentive to my needs, he answered all of my questions with care & compassion. He is a very knowledgeable doctor & knows his stuff. He made me feel very comfortable for a person in my early 40s having to get a colonoscopy, which didn’t sound so fun upon first notice. Outside of his professional demeanor, he has a great sense of humor & personality. He has this innate way of making his patients (& staff) smile, which gave ease to the reality of knowing this random little white guy (with the perfect windsor knot in his tie) just stuck a scope up my butt, or better yet, needed to stick a scope up my butt. But at least his socks matched his tie!

Long time patient
I've been seeing Dr. Gadol for a long time. He's personable and very detail oriented. As other reviewers have stated, there is a wait time once you're at the office. However, I don't consider a busy doctor to be a bad sign. Dr. Gadol is patient in getting medications approved through ever changing insurance requirements.

Endoscopy
I was able to get in on the same day, it was nice because my symptoms were getting worse. Now and day, it is hard to get the visit fast bc most doctors office the wait to be seen likes weeks out. I also get to schedule my EGD procedure a day or so later and I’m glad I get to do it quick. Turn out I have stomach cancer and able to catch it right away due to quick appointment with doctor Gadol and did the procedure and he help me to get the care that I need. Thank you very much.

Great doctor
I have to agree with the waiting issue at his office. However he did stick his head into the waiting room and let me know he was running behind. I thought that was very thoughtful. He then spent plenty of time with me. He talks fast and makes it somewhat difficult to catch everything he says, I'm hard of hearing. But again I simply ask to repeat or asserted my questions or concerns. He was very thorough.

Doctor and staff disrespectful
Dr Gadol's office Is difficult to reach. Phone not answered 99% of the time. Voicemails not returned. Gadol does not listen to a patient. He talks over a patient without truly listening. If you can get an appointment, be prepared for one to two plus hours waiting time after you sign in. His staff is extremely rude and they need to acquire more pleasant personalities. Avoid him if you want to be respected.
