Not happy
I was not happy behind closed doors. I heard him use God‘s name in vain. I begin looking for a new doctor after that. I tried to make an appointment with him to explain why I got rid of him. He canceled my appointment the day of and I was told he does not want to be my doctor, very unprofessional

Had to find other doctor
Doctor Garner has been my doctor for 3+ years. He doesn't listen to me, gas lights me and my hair is still falling out and I'm struggling to lose weight and he just says my tsh levels must run high. My thyroid doesn't work! He offered me an upper to lose weight and said that hormone replacement therapy would make me gain more weight. Not doing this anymore. I deserve good medical care.

Unprofessional
I was a patient of Dr. Garner for over 10 years. Never had an issue with him. A few years ago, after having COVID, I started having pain in my right kidney and other issues, like weakness/dizziness. Dr. Garner at one point told me it was just back pain and offered me strong pain medication. I declined the pain medicine. I simply wanted to know what was going on with me. I chose to seek a second opinion with another doctor. I got a CT scan, where I do have scar tissue in my right kidney and other issues. Months later, I called and scheduled an appointment with Dr. Garner. I took off work for this but when I arrived, I was told that Dr. Garner would not see me. I asked why and did not get a response. I messaged the clinic later for an explanation and did not get any response. It felt as if me getting a second opinion was not allowed. Additionally, it is upsetting I took off work to see the doctor only to be told he would not see me. Unprofessional. I would like an explanation.

While searching for a dr who would take me on as a pt....He was not taking new patients and one of the front desks asked if he might consider taking on an elderly lady who is sitting in the lobby waiting for a ride to go back home; after being told that all the Drs were booked to the max. He told her "YES, I will take her as my new pt."

Dr. Garner
I am happy to have Dr Garner for my family doctor. I had been with my former doctor more then forty years butDr. Garnet is so kind and nice and am so glad I chose him. He shows interest in what I say and is very good with my son who is always with me and is also his patient. I will be 91 on Sept. 17th.and Dr. will help me stay as young as possible! I am pretty active!

Horrible
I have seen Garner for over 10 years and have never really felt comfortable with all of his decisions but continued because of convenience. I've been seeing a PA in the office the last 2 months who is excellent! She listened and corrected an issue I'd had for over 8 years and scheduled me for a needed procedure. Garner cancelled the procedure that had been scheduled for 2 months because he hadn't seen me. I expressed my displeasure with that and said I wanted to continue seeing the PA that had actually helped for the first time in many years. A week later, I received a 30 day notice letter stating he would not be my doctor and would not be treated at his location. Avoid Garner! There are other instances, including a 4 day hospital stay, because of Garner not listening. But I'm limited on space. There are other doctors in the area that will actually listen and provide accurate care.

This doctor is horrible. Thanks to him not following the instructions of my mom's surgeon for a simple potassium supplement prescription with the lab results right in front of him, she was not able to have her surgery to remove CANCER FROM HER BODY. The nurse/medical assistant also did not advocate for her, which is their job. He then sent her a letter stating he refuses to be her doctor anymore after she had already established care with another (much more competent) physician. The treatment by him also to my disabled brother is disgusting. He should not be practicing medicine!

When did ascension doctors get to pick who they treat? Well they didnt want to see me because I'm on lyrica for a lower back issue. (Pinched nerve). I guess they are looking for perfectly healthy patients. This place is ridicules. That's probably why they barely got 3 stars

Very please with my doctor. Think he is respectful to people's viewpoints and listens when you express what you feel is going on with you. Seems to be interested in helping and doesn't brush you off or have an abrupt manner.
