Dr. Steven Gelber, MD

Dr Steven Gelber is the best. He is kind and considerate, has a wonderful low-key sense of humor, respects health-related decisions of his patients, always knows how to present a patient with a set of treatment options. He makes time for his patients in a moment of much-needed advice or an emergency. One could not ask for a better obgyn. Highly recommended, A+!

DO NOT GO TO DR. GELBER! I was referred to Dr. Gelber for a circumcision for my son. I ended up walking out after his inappropriate behavior. He may be a capable doctor (still remains to be seen) but he has no bedside manner and did no due diligence ahead of the appointment. He came in expressing concern about proceeding simply because he took no time in finding out more information about his patient and seemingly looking to me (the father) to convince him to proceed. I have never had an experience like this before with any healthcare provider. By far the least caring doctor I have ever met and he gave me no confidence in putting my son's health in his hands. Save yourself the time and ask for a different doctor rather than put the health of your loved one in such a mediocre person.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gelber's for many years. In my opinion - he is an exceptionally good doctor. Kind - considerate - personable. From a technical perspective - top rate. Would recommend with out reservation ....

I was recommended to Dr. Gelber by my primary physician to have a surgery. I was treated very professionally, clear explanation of what the problem was, various options of treatment methods along with their pros and cons, and we discussed and narrowed down a treatment method that was optimal. The surgery went very well, and I recommended him for surgery care.

I have literally never felt more judged by someone in my life. I read a review of him on another site and it said "I've met farm animals with more compassion..." and I completely agree. For being a first-time mother, who has considerable risk factors and therefore concerns, he was absolutely awful. I would never recommend him to anyone.

Dr Gelber has been my physician for 16+ years, he's the best!

It's clear this man hates obstetrics. He spends literally 5 minutes in the room, tells me nothing about the health of my fetus or anything else. I told him I had pain, itching, and problems in my lady parts and he told me to self-treat for a yeast infection, without looking or checking me. I went elsewhere and it turns out I have a dangerous bacterial infection! Be prepared to be your own Dr if you have this man as your OB. He just doesn't care, along with the rest of this practice.
