Dr. Steven Glassman, MD

Dr. Glassman comes highly recommended by many medical experts. He specializes in the surgery I will need. He explained my condition and the surgery that would help with my pain. I am very confident in his skills. His bedside manor of being very calm and kind is a definite plus.

I had to see his PA first and provide records and MRI before seeing Dr. Glassman which is understandable and I was more than glad to do since he came highly recommended by my pain management doctor. His PA said I was looking at possible fusion of my 5 lower vertebra which while scary is a form of relief. When I went to see him couple of weeks later I first saw another PA or doctor don't know which then he finally came in to see me. He told me there was nothing he could do surgically and recommended water therapy to strengthen my core. First off I work out and have until the pain got to much for me so my core was not that weak and why make me make a 4 hour round trip wasting my time and gas which is expensive now and miss work time to tell me he could do nothing. A phone call would have done the same thing since he had my records and I had seen his PA already. This should be a zero rating but they will not let you.

did my spine surgery in 1985 an am glad that this dr did it. one great surgeon. would recommend to anyone that needs an orthopedic surgeon.

Dr. Glassman is the best !!! Now to make a long story short, I kept falling and one doctor told me it was arthritis in my neck and he wanted to see me in 6 months. I am so glad I met a lady in a restroom in Paducah, KY who HIGHLY recommended Dr. Glassman to me and I didn't even know I needed surgery then. She kept saying to me, "Remember that name, Glassman !!!" Well after I had an MRI my regular doctor asked me if I knew a spine specialist and I said no. After 2 to 3 days later, it hit me, remember that name, Glassman so I called the doctors office and told them I wanted to see Dr. Glassman in Louisville, KY. He got me right in for surgery because if I didn't have this surgery I would have been paralyzed. I JUST WANT TO THANK GOD FOR SENDING ME AN ANGEL IN THAT RESTROOM OR I NEVER WOULD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT DR. GLASSMEN !!! We arrived at his office both times an hour early and seen him right away. NOW I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM !!! It was worth the 3 hour drive there and 3 hours home.

My bàck is doing so well. Very impressed really at it feeling as good as it does.

Dr. Glassman is an outstanding, caring and very knowledgeable doctor. He was thorough and really listened to me. He explained everything in language that I understood and did NOT make me feel like "just a number".

The doctor did a good job, the aftercare & rude uncaring staff are atrocious.

All I know is when I walked (bent over) into his office the first time he didn't jump the gun wanting to do surgery right away. But, as time when on and other methods didn't help me, that's when he suggested surgery. He explained everything into detail in a way that I could understand and what to expect. It wasn't an easy surgery just as he said. I can now walk standing straight...with some pain. But, so very thankful for Dr. Glassman. He gave me my life back!

I can't comment much on Dr. Glassman because I never saw him. I was a new patient. My appointment was at 3:00. I arrived at 2:30 and turned everything in. By 3:30 no one had spoken to me so I asked the receptionist if I would be seen soon and she said I should be next. At 4:00 she informed me the the doctor was over an hour behind and asked if I'd like to reschedule. Why schedule an appointment if it cannot be fulfilled not on their end. I left without any help. Terrible experience!

Dr glassman has helped me so much and very knowledgeable and caring. I went to so many drs and hospitals and he knew right away what was going on with me .. staff is very nice also. Always willing to help.. thank you so much
