Disappointed and STILL in Pain
Two appts, one for consultation and second for oral surgery. Time spent with Dr Gollehon, approximately 5 minutes. Surgery itself took literally 2 minutes to remove my tooth. Once numb, he jammed the drill in my tooth and a few seconds later, it was over. After exclaiming how shocked I was it went so fast, he confirmed the tooth was out. Then, he was out. I was quite numb, but once the anesthetic wore off, pain set in. It was expected, but 3 days later, I called explaining that I feel sharp bony fragments. The nurse called back, told me it was normal and continue taking otc pain reliever. Her whole demeanor was insensitive, annoyed and no compassion at all. Now, I'm a week out, with jagged protrusions, very irritated gums and still in pain. Until this experience, I couldn't understand dental phobia. This was the most unpleasant dental visit I've ever had. I will never go back to that cold facility and be subjected to a strictly business level of non care.

After investigating other oral surgeons in and out of my network, I chose Dr. Gollehon who is not in my network but was recommended by our orthodontist. I wanted someone well educated, very experienced, and completely competent to help my son. A+ experience.

I am not sure if this DDS even deserves 1 star. After waiting to be seen for an hour, we finally got called back to the office. We were just there for a consultation. This man was very rude and condescending to my husband who has issues opening his mouth due to radiation treatments. When I started to tell him we were not too thrilled about waiting for an hour, and trying to tell him what issues my husband had, he basically told us he didn't care whether he extracted teeth from his mouth or not and he started yelling at us. And I am not exaggerating. He yelled so loud his face was red and he stomped out of the office. I have never seen anything like this in my entire life. I don't care if you are having a bad day, you do not treat people like this.

Wait time was less than 2 mins. Explained everything thoroughly and took his time on first visit to answer all my questions and was told by office what I would need to pay . On surgery day he put me at ease , was caring and afterwards office called within 3 hrs to ck on me. I had brought my mother to him a month earlier for extractions with good results. Decided I trusted him for myself as well and was glad I did!
