One of the benefits of working for the hospital I was admitted to this Aug, through ER, I am witnessed to the excellent surgeons, their bedside manners, & their collegiality with the care team. When informed of a surgical consult, while in ER, I immediately requested, actually begged to consult Dr. Steven Grant. For almost 20 yrs, as a neuro-trauma ICU RN, I cared for his patients. In those 20 yrs, he treated each pt w/ the utmost respect/courtesy & his pts recovered well. Dr. Grant extended those values to the ICU team, listened/appreciated our input for the comprehensive care of our ICU pts. Dr. Grant is a complete package. A cute story of one of his pts. After a noisy long night in the ICU, my pt wanted rest. Upon notification that Dr. Grant will be rounding shortly, she stated, "Forget sleep. Please give me my make-up bag so I can be presentable to my cute doctor." Dr. Grant just blushed. I miss working w/ him. His office staff is remarkable. Dr. Grant is truly the BEST!

We used another surgeon in this group in January, 2017, but that surgeon has since retired. DO NOT ADVANCE ANY MONEY PRIOR TO SURGERY. We were required to pay $1500.00 before they would do the surgery, however, despite an insurance reimbursement and an explanation of benefits stating we owe only $96.00, we have not received any refund and it's now July. We have called multiple times requesting the refund without success and the administrator will not call back as promised. BEWARE!!

I had Dr. Grant as my Surgeon to remove what I thought was a Lipoma. It was a pretty good golf Ball sized lump on my left Ribcage. I managed surgery fine and after it came out, we found out through Pathology that it was a Melanoma. Dr. Grants style is laid back but full of knowledge to make you feel at ease. He tells you straight as to what should happen next and helps you all along the way. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Grant as your Surgeon.

I had hernia surgery performed by Dr. Grant last Spring 2016 and the results are excellent. He fully explained the procedure, down time, and recovery period in detail. I had no complications and was back to my routine schedule within a week or so.
