WARNING
My husband is a physician and has spoken to Dr. Jacobs on several occasions about prescribing benzodiazepines and narcotics to my mother who is a liver transplant patient and is not supposed to be taking these medications. Every time she takes them she ends up in the hospital. She has been hospitalized and in a rehab for the past 3 months and off all of these medications. The VERY day she got out, he gave them to her again. We are reporting him to the Office of Professional Medical Misconduct. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!

Dr Jacobs, at caremount on Columbia Street, has been our family physician for roughly 10 years. We have always been grateful for his expertise when it comes to our medical care. Most recently he saved my husband from having a heart attack by evaluating symptoms, doing an EKG, and sending him directly to the hospital. We’re very thankful.

I can't believe how terrible this doctor and his staff is! My father has always complained that he always gets a voicemail and his calls aren't returned until after 5:00. My dad currently has COVID-19 and I reached out to Dr. Jacob's office for help since my father does not have the strength to eat or drink and keeps having to go to the hospital for fluids and oxygen. His office's response was "...and what exactly do you want us to do?" The woman that answers the phone with the attitude said that Dr. Jacobs would call me after he was done seeing patients that day. I guess his Friday night plans were more important because I'm still waiting for that call and his patient (my dad) is back in the hospital tonight. I can't tell you how many people have suggested that I reach out to my father's primary for help...it seems it's part of his job to assist with his patient's care when they have COVID and underlining health issues.

Dr Jacobs is a breath of fresh air. He made me feel comfortable, not rushed, and explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand. He’s clearly an experienced, caring doctor, and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending him to my family and friends. .
