Excellent
I had stage 3 prostate cancer 4,5 years ago, and Dr. Koopman was my surgeon. I'm still alive and well. Besides being skillful, he is also kind and caring. At my first appointment, I was immediately reassured by his presence, his voice, and his touch. He also has sterling credentials, including a fellowship in urological surgery at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles.

Fine Dr., terrible staff
Dr. Koopman is wonderful. He is caring, very attentive & explains things completing in language which is understandable. That said, his staff is a disaster. Try to get a call call from his office. Impossible. Try to get a prescription refilled. Impossible. If you can tolerate his office, I highly recommend him.

I saw Dr. Koopman in consultation after an abnormal PSA test result. After Dr. Koopman performed a biopsy it was determined I had an aggressive form of prostate cancer. Dr. Koopman presented all the treatment options and explained everything in detail. I felt completely confident in Dr. Koopman and assured that I was in good hands to manage my care. I would highly recommend Dr. Koopman.
