Didn’t listen and poor diagnostician
This was the worst experience I’ve had with a doctor. I generally like my doctors and give them a lot of leeway as they have a tough job and not much time. But his behavior was inexcusable. He didn’t listen to my concerns at all - interrupting and being chummy. As a result I barely was able to get out 2 minutes of my medical history and the concerns that brought me there. He spent 8 of the 10 minutes I was in his office bragging about his credentials and dismissing me. He got back to me on one condition from blood tests, which I already knew I had, and had tried to tell him I already had in his office. He ignored the blood tests which I found out from a subsequent doctor were actually potentially causal to my concerns. I left his office angry, frustrated, dehumanized, and sorry for any other person who sees him.

Overconfident
Dr Lamm is very personable but it hides his dismissive and facile diagnosis and treatment. Follow-up is extremely poor if not pollyannaish. Backslapping is not a substitute for care. Referral too often are predicated more on his PR relations than on appropriateness. Overall, he likes the newest drug solutions to thinking deeply about remedies that have a proven track record. He's a fan of the "latest and greatest" regardless of proven results. This seems to tickle his self esteem as being "up to date" --in everything.

I answered 5 stars to all the questions in this survey which seemed excessive but each was an honest response. Great facility. Really helpful staff. I find Dr. Lamm to be incredibly personable and knowledgeable. He listened and responded intelligently. He is very interested in preventive care which I find refreshing. We had a good time together and I came away feeling like I now have a primary care physician I can trust.

Poor staff. Mostly his lack of being able to reach him. Not available to patients. He is like those doctors of years ago. Kind of dismissed the patients opinions. Kind - but condescending.
