Dr. Steven Maschke, MD

Such a great doctor and surgeon! I needed emergency surgery after a fall and Dr. Maschke was so wonderful and kind. Great results. Great follow up appointments. I highly recommend him.

He religated me to his PA before seeing him. His PA was horrible and I found that after several consultations from other orthopods that his recommendations for my hand were off base. I also found his bedside manner to be off putting. I would not see him again, which is consistent with what his peers and also stated to me.

Dr.maschke is such an awesome hand surgeon. He did surgery for severe trigger thumb many years ago and I have another hand now that needs surgery,. I would never go to anybody but him!

He is laid back patient and knowledgeable. I had to wait a little bit for the appt....but once there i had no wait and surgery was scheduled within 2 weeks. I already feel a difference and the surgical dressing hasnt even been removed yet.....dr and staff are amazing!! Wonderful dr. Great staff. He and the euclid hospital anesthesiologist even took into consideration my recent mastectomy and refused to use the mastectomy arm ( even tho i have not had issues and only had 5 LN's removed) so all iv access and bps before and during surgery were done on surgery arm making it very crowded...just because they wanted to be extra, extra safe.....i was ok with the other arm but they wanted to be extra safe.....that is a sign of conscientious and caring drs.

Once again, a trigger finger event. Dr. Maschke initially treated the event conservatively with an injection but the recurrence of the problem in a short time necessitated surgical release. The procedure took place at the Twinsburg facility and has been a resounding success. While I am not medically trained, I can attest to Dr. Maschke’s skill based upon the results of four procedures. A word about the Twinsburg surgical staff; OUTSTANDING! A proper support for a truly skilled professional. Once again, the follow up attention by Kim Kachele, R.N., was the crowning touch.

Had my first visit with Dr. Maschke for a second opinion and I wish he had been my first. He is absolutely wonderful. Truly kind and caring. He appears to be what every Doctor you encounter should be, professional yet straight forward. I highly recommend him. I have had such positive experiences with all of the Doctors associated with the Cleveland Clinic.

I received great care from Dr. Maschke and his staff. Dr. Maschke thoroughly explained the plan of care both before and after surgery.

Amazing Doctor! Our daughter was in a go cart accident and broke her humerus and radius. He was so informative, caring & kind. He made us feel at ease and took the time to explain everything to us. After the very long surgery he spent 1/2 hr talking with us. Super nice guy! He's such a great guy you won't be disappointed!
