Best Doctor! He is on top of latest treatments.
He listens, and my RA has not slowed me down at all thanks to Dr. Matthews. You are seen on time and not left in waiting room. He knows treatment is not one size fits all. He has been my doctor for almost 30 years. He is on top of the latest treatments and takes the time to discuss all the options.

Dr. Mathews is a wonderful provider.
Dr. Mathews listen and is very patience. He let the patient have a input in their care. His staff is just as wonderful as the provider. Very pleasant office experience every time we go there.

If you have gout, Dr. Mathews should be your first choice. I had debilitating gout in my knees, ankles and toes. Other doctors had me changing diet, taking a green pill that wrecked my liver. Nothing helped. I finally found Dr. Mathews. I walked in on crutches bc the pain was so intense. In 4 hours my gout was completely gone. Been under control for 3 years. BTW, I'm fit and in my early 40's. Old school rules - thank you Dr. Mathews.

Dr. Mathews is my new Rheumatologist and I could not be happier. This man is thow-back to when Doctors cared more about YOU than your insurance card. This man sat down with me like I was only patient for the day and wanted to get to know me. He wanted to form a plan to best help me and my unique and individual condition. This in my opinion is rare these days. I have to say this man is very caring and his office staff was very friendly, welcoming and nice. I know I have made a great choice

Dr Matthews is awesome. He takes the time to really listen to you and examine you. He honestly is concerned about YOU.. The staff here is so friendly and nice too, unlike a lot of places that act like it's a privilege for you to be able to come and see the doctor. Will recommend Dr. Matthews highly!

I would NOT recommend Dr. Mathews. The only thing he's ever done is give me drugs. He doesn't care about actually making me feel better. You'll never hear him talk about diet or exercise to help manage your symptoms. If you want a bunch of drugs with bad side effects, he's your man. If you want someone who will actually try to help you, find someone else. Go to this website and see that he received almost $400,000 from pharmaceutical companies in 2014. Can anyone say conflict of interest?
