Dr. Steven Mollov, MD

Do not see this Gyn! He is the rudest, most uncaring Doctor I have ever encountered. I am a 78 yo who was experiencing vaginal bleeding. He did a biopsy and an ultrasound. Told me no cancer and sent me on my way. Bleeding continued so I went back asking if perhaps I should have a D&C. His response was that he didn’t like to operate on older, overweight women and once again dismissed me. After a few months of continued bleeding I made an appt with Dr Jane Kerr. She immediately scheduled a D&C. Well I DO, in fact, have uterine cancer. So how many months I wasted after being dismissed like I was unworthy of his care and time. He’s a disgrace to the medical profession.

He was the doctor on call the night I gave birth to my second kid. He had the worst bedside manner of any doctor I have ever met. All he would say to me, while I was in active labor, was, "we really prefer you to get here sooner," over and over. He was exceptionally rude to me the entire time. After I had a bad tear, that I believe was partially due to him. He sewed me up incorrectly and completely ignored me when I told him that the pain was unbearable. After calling the office for multiple weeks in tears over the pain, he finally saw me, took one look and said, "oh yeah that's definitely not right. I'll have to correct that" I promptly switched to a much better doctor, but it still took two surgeries to correct his mistake.

My wife needed to have an endometrial biopsy done. Despite our warnings ahead of time that my wife had very painful experiences with pelvic exams, Dr. Mollov performed an initial exam without any care for her pain or emotional needs. He caused her a lot of pain and never checked in with her about how she felt afterwards. She was brought to tears with the amount of pain she was in. He had zero compassion for her and never asked if she was alright afterwards. He should not be working in this field.

Dr. Mollov is the least compassionate provider I have ever encountered. In the midst of a difficult and distressed labor. He came and looked at my chart, never made eye contact with me, never spoke to me, except to say “we don’t give out medals for martyrdom. Feel free to take the drugs”. And walked away. Never in my life would I imagine being treated with such contempt. This, being unattended for 23 of 26 hours of labor and having to ASK to hold my baby after being out of surgery for 2 hours & many other awful experiences, I was horrified with the hospital and practice.

Terrible, heartless doctor. Shamed me about my feelings. Shamed me about my weight even though I was gaining at an acceptable, healthy rate. I don't know how this man is a doctor. I switched doctors within the practice and she was amazing. Dr Mollov should be fired

The most insensitive prenatal care doctor I’ve ever met!! Doesn’t listen to concerns or issues unless it involves him making more money. After two visits with him I’m scared to trust him with my care.

After seeing Dr. Mollov for 25 years, I no longer trust him or his office to perform the services I ask for and need. After seeing my PCP for an annual physical, I made an appointment for him to do a pap and examine a problem I had. He found and treated the problem but charged me for a new patient charge (I had not been to him for two years) and a physical, both of which my insurance company denied. I was unable to rectify the situation after several tries and paid the additional $440.
