Diep Surgery w/ double mastectomy
My experience with Dr Pisano has been nothing but GREAT. He's very professional and has excellent bed side manners. His work is amazing and the PRMA staff is all polite and responds quickly to any questions or concerns. I'm so glad I chose him and PRMA to take care of my needs. The 3 hr drive one way is worth it.

When I pulled into the PRMA parking lot, I was scared and thought that maybe risk reduction (prophylactic) mastectomy and reconstruction surgery was more than I was ready to do. My odds of having breast cancer were unacceptably high due to the mutated BRCA gene. However, after my first appointment with Dr. Pisano, who came highly recommended from a former patient, I was at ease and signed up for surgery! I could not be more pleased with the professionalism of Dr. Pisano, Kathleen, Amy, and the rest of the staff at PRMA. I felt confident that I had made a well-educated decision. I cannot say enough positive things about their protocol for surgery and pain management! I am delighted with the end result of the surgery. Dr Pisano delivered exactly what I had requested and we had discussed. San Antonio is a four hour drive for me, and being a patient of Dr. Pisano was definitely worth the drive!

I would not recommended this Doctor I went to him because I had breast cancer and was having a double Mastectomy with a tummy tuck to reconstruct my breast. I asked him to make sure to make me smaller and he made me bigger ( DD). When I confronted him simple said that he thought that I looked good that way. He totally undermined what I wanted. It has been 7 years my breast are so heavy that some time it's hard to breath when I lay on back and the pressure when I lay sideways. Today I went to see a doctor and it so happen that his wife was one of his nurses he said that she mention to him that he does not listen to his patients and does what he wants. Please do not go to him .

During my first visit with Dr. Pisano he took the time to explain all my options in great detail and removed a lot of my anxieties. My husband and I left there feeling confident in the choices that were made. His nurse Kathleen is an absolute gem! I could and would email her often with my questions following the surgeries and she never made me feel like I was bother and was always there to help! Dr. Pisano and the team at PRMA were really able to take a bad situation and turn it into a positive.

Dr. Pisano is very knowledgeable and talented in his field. When I had my first visit, Dr. Pisano thoroughly explained all the options available for me and answered all our questions. My husband and I felt very confident about my surgery. Dr. Pisano's nurse, Kathleen, is just as amazing and at anytime I needed a question answered she was either available right then or very prompt is getting back with me. The surgical staff that Dr. Pisano works with at Methodist Hospital are just as amazing. You can really see that they all work as team together, and often. That really brought calm to my nerves and my husband's right before surgery. I followed all the instructions before and after surgery and I was back up and going in 3 weeks. I was back at work at 4 weeks. The ability to recover so quickly really shows how much experience Dr. Pisano has. I really feel that if you are looking at having a surgery performed by the physicians at PRMA, that you choose Dr. Pasino and his amazing team
