Dr Poletti had to go in and fix what 2 previous Drs couldn’t. I’ve had no pain since Poletti did what was my 3rd Back surgery. He’s leaps and bounds above any Dr in my area.

3 weeks agoNEW If you are looking for a surgeon who is good at his specialty, Dr. Poletti fits the bill. He did a great job with my severe spinal stenosis. But if you are looking for a surgeon with well-planned post-surgery follow up care in a timely manner, then definitely look elsewhere! Two weeks after my original surgery, I had follow-up visits but only with PAs. I did not even get a doctor visit at the hospital. The PA who came to the hospital could not even tell me whether I had had a fusion or not. On my 2 week post- surgery visit, again I saw PAs who told me they wanted to admit me immediately to the hospital for another surgery. They explained that they did not like the looks of the healing incision. I insisted on a follow up visit to see Dr. Poletti. He explained he needed to reopen the incision to clean and debride the incision. I reluctantly agreed. Before leaving the hospital, I was fitted with a wound vac that was to stay on a week.. Post second surgery, I again only saw

Dr. Poletti and team are knowledgeable, respectful of your time, professional and caring. I had several consultations up and down the east coast and had my mind set on what I did NOT want to have happen. After meeting with Dr. Poletti, learning the process and plan, the procedure I had was WAY more involved than I had wanted or anticipated but was the right course of action. The facility and staff were amazing. I greatly appreciate that they are very punctual and efficient when I go for an office visit.

I was in Dr Poletti office back in Oct 2018 with a bad back, he did x-rays and a MRI. After my appointment Dr Poletti told me he would get me in quickly if my back went out again. Well my back has been killing me for 18 days now and i have not yet send Dr Poletti. I called to make an appointment and they told me someone would call me. Well that took about a week and then they told me i need another MRI and someone will call me on 06-02 at 0850 to set that up. Its been a week since i had the call and still no MRI. I have called the office and left a message for Wendy and never got a call back. I called again a couple days later and left another message and i have still not got a call back. I have always had good experiences at Dr Poletti office and that's why i keep coming back. But i have to say i have never been treated this way at any doctors office. I am going to try one more time and if i don't get some answers i will go some where else. I am VERY disappointed.

Dr. Poletti and his staff are top notch. My surgery went smoothly and my follow up visits have gone very well with his PA ,Justin Swain. I have had 3 surgeries over the years at SSI and I can't say enough good things about their care.

Dr. Poletti continues to make me feel I am his only patient. His medical acumen is unequaled and his personal attention and intimate knowledge of my condition gives me unquestioned confidence in his judgement and advice. He is the best.
