I have found Dr. Potter to be a loving, caring a patience, but does not have a problem with giving some tough love [when needed]. I have had my transplant going on 5 years and have not had a stay in the hospital beside the day I had my transplant.

Dr. Potter performed a kidney transplant on my husband. I was the living donor. We both had a good recovery. He has been very hands on in out post operative care. Actually, another couple in our Sunday School Class had the same surgeries with the husband being the donor after our surgery. I would recommend Dr. Potter to family and friends.

Dr. Potter is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had the honor to be seen by I would rate him a 10 out of 10 he really cares about his patients he’s very studious he always knew everything about My case and never forgot who I was. In my case As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses he made sure that my concerns about the blood issue was paramount, this not the attitude of most doctors this is something very special showing the concern he showed for my case even though his belief was different from mines

Dr. Potter is a WONDERFUL!!! doctor. I have been seeing Dr. Potter before and after my renal transplant and I have never been disappointed with him nor his staff. Its is so sad that he will be leaving UT Health(ETMC), but no matter where he goes I will follow and so many patients feel this way.

Dr. Potter transplanted my kidney 2/14/14. I credit him that I am still alive and healthy today.I also credit him that I am able to live what I consider a quality and enjoyable life. I consider him a valuable asset to the east Texas health care system . He has also been extremely diligent in helping me in the aftercare portion of my transplant. I thank Dr. Potter that I can enjoy family, travel, hunt fish, worship , and most anything I care to do. Harold Wilson
