Dr Rapp was a tremendous help!
I went in to see Dr Rapp with very bad lower back and leg pain. After having an MRI, he knew what to do! He explained the procedure and what to expect with great detail. He has his own surgical center on-site so you don’t have to go through all the hospital issues. My surgery went just as planned and I feel great now!! I would highly recommend Dr Rapp to anyone who has back issues. He is a very skillful, personable and caring doctor.

Brilliant, Rock Star Neurosurgeon Spine Specialist
Dr. Rapp is an outstanding specialist! He is extremely professional while possessing a compassionate bedside manor. He diagnosed my back issue and his surgical center was so welcoming, comfortable and efficient! Once the surgery was over and I was discharged, I was returning client's calls on my way home! Dr. Rapp made several follow up calls to check on my recovery, even while on his vacation. The excruciating pain I had prior to the operation was completely gone- total relief immediately! Dr. Rapp exceeds your expectations. His intelligence and skills are unsurpassed.

Wronged by Dr. Steven Rapp Rapp
The best we can say about Dr. Steven Rapp is that his wishy washy. He could not remember what stated as facts from previous visits. Dr. Rapp totally contradicts himself from one visit to the next, became increasingly rude at each subsequent office visit, is a single issue doctor. etc. What does he have for a conscience??

I would definitely recommend Dr. Steven Rapp! He did my ALIF surgery L4-S1 and it was the best decision I made. I had it done June 7, 2021 and was home the following day. So much nicer at home to recover. By my first post-op I was asking if I could go glamping, which I did and at my second post-op I was asking it I could go tubing. I think he was pretty shocked when I asked but he gave me the go ahead but to not over due it. Here I am 8 months later and feel great! Thank you Dr. Rapp

Dr. Rapp is a brilliant surgeon and he has been able to identify and fix problems expertly. The downside is that his office is an organizational mess and it takes MONTHS to get appointments for consultation and surgery. They also don't communicate the best when changes occur. The onset of COVID-19 has made it even worse, as they struggle to catch-up on all the closures. If you have plenty of time and patience he is worth the wait. If it's an emergency, perhaps consider alternatives.

Back in 2011 Dr Rapp responded to a late night call from radiology dept of hospital I was at for an MRI of my brain. I had a rare brain tumor that required emergency surgery. I didn't know or have time to research anything. I was quite fortunate to get Dr. Rapp as my surgeon. The tumor was benign and nine years later living in complete health. I never had a bad experience with Dr. Rapp in any of my follow up visits. A definate recommendation.

Dr. Rapp is a skilled surgeon. I had L2-5 laminectomy surgery about 6 weeks ago. I was quite fearful about the procedure and my recovery. Prior to the surgery I could barely walk. I am pleased to report that the surgery was a complete success. I can temporarily walk with a cane. Moreover I am pain free. I was left with minor back muscle weakness that will be relieved by physical therapy.

Originally he helped me and I thought he was an excellent neurosurgeon. He corrected my problem and my pain was gone. He told me he could help me with my neck/lumbar pain. At an appointment I thought was to set a date for surgery he did a complete flip on me. He did not look at me, he did not talk to me only to tell me that I was old and to get some therapy. Sounds like he is too old to operate, at least he is on me anyway. Don't go there.

Ok, my surgery was 4/2013. I had a L2-L5 fusion, 8 screws,a cage and 2 disc's replaced. Had 2 previous procedures done (2009 & 2011) by another doctor that did not correct my problem. That Doctor referred me to Dr. Rapp. After my first consultant with him I knew I was going to be in good hands. Had a problem with some nurses while in the hospital and he corrected that right away. His staff was outstanding and I feel very fortunate to have had him as my doctor. Thanks for giving me my life back.

I had surgery in March, Dr Rapp was my surgeon. Dr Rapp performed a anterior lumbar interbody fusion. I had so much anxiety going into a back surgery but, couldn't stand the pain any longer. If I knew what I know now I would have had the surgery back in 2012. My experience was great. I literally woke up in post op feeling 100x better. That same night I was able to eat solid foods and get up n walk around. The pain from surgery was minimal. Dr Steve Rapp is awesome and a great doc!!!

Sciatica.Primary Care Physician reffered me.One office visit 28JAN16.Dr. seemed fine but the gatekeepers he employs leave something to be desired. Primary Care Physician had my pain management as Norco 750's. I thought too much. While speaking with Dr. Rapp during the appt, He recommended Tylenol 3's or 4's.We decided to have me try Tylenol 3's.They weren't strong enough.Called Dr. Rapps office 07FEB16 in AM to obtain Tylenol 4 prescription. As of 10FEB16 2pm they had taken no action. He hires so?
