Good luck
Uncaring, short, blunt; comically bad at normal human behavior. After misdiagnosing, he continued to gaslight, explaining how super smart he was back in school (yes, a dermatologist with thin skin). Honestly, this is some of the worst care I've experienced.

I have been going to see Dr. Rasmussen for quite a few years (maybe 5 or more). Thankfully, I haven't required any 'major skin care procedures'; mostly Cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen) treatments. So, my visits don't involve "complicated help, that others have mentioned", from this doctor. His 'bedside manner' is quick; I'll admit it. ( he does seem to be getting more attentive). Over the many years of utilizing his services: He has always been that way. I have noticed that his Office and waiting room, always has patients, awaiting SERVICE. The DAILY work schedule must be VERY FULL. Thank you, sir, for your work. Thank you for the Kind and Helpful Assistants that you have. Keep up your efforts to improve; we all will gain from that. Respectfully, Tom

Excellent Dr!
Was able to quickly diagnose what two previous dermatologists failed to treat. Years of frustration is gone. On top of that, he actually answers the phone when you call him!

I’ve been going to Dr. Steven Rasmussen for nearly 3 years now and would highly recommend him. He’s brilliant, exceptionally helpful, informative and has great bedside manner. I’ve referred several friends to see him at his practice, all of which have been just as impressed.

I have been to this doctor 3-4 times now and he is extremely rude and careless. I had skin cancer cut off of my stomach where he cut a huge portion out instead of using a less invasive procedure (mohs). I was allergic to the stitches he used after the surgery and was in excruciating pain for about a week. The doctor called me a “delicate flower” and did nothing even though my skin was inflamed. A few days later they finally removed the stitches. A week later after the allergic reaction, I notice they did not even remove one of the stitches because my skin was so inflamed he overlooked it. He left it in my skin. What kind of doctor doesn’t remember how many stitches he put in and how many he pulled out? Back at the doctor...he once again is demeaning and tells me I’m the one that’s being too sensitive. Well, he is the one that can’t do his job correctly. He is incapable of doing a good job. He is incapable of doing a decent job. It’s amazing that doctors can get away with this.

At first I was hesitant to see a Doctor about moles or even undressing but during my visit With Dr. Rasmussen and his Nurse I felt very comfortable. They each had a soft and warm demeanor. It was a quick initial visit to view my entire body and afterwards their office supplied me with the information specific to my skin health. I would recommend Dr. Rasmussen if you are the type who is usually anxious when visiting a new Doctor.

Despite seeing other specialists, Rasmussen was actually able to help me and reassure me that there is hope for my keloid condition. I highly recommend him. He is also very caring, and has admirable bedside manner. Ive seen many specialists, and a kind and knowledgable doctor is hard to come by.

Dr. Rasmussen saw my elderly father (who has Alzheimers) for a large skin cancer. My father hadn't let anyone assess this and said angrily that no doctor could touch him. Dr. Rasmussen talked to my father compassionately, professionally-enough for my father to establish trust & confidence in him. Dr. R was kind/matter of fact about treating the cancer & my father allowed Dr. R to treat the cancer. Dr. Rasmussen was efficient, and has a caring, efficient manner & has exceptional clinical skills.

personal office number to reach him directly if you have any questions or concerns following your visit. I have never had a doctor do that. He has the best staff! They are all very friendly and helpful! He is by far the best dermatologist that I have ever been to and I highly recommend him! His visits are always efficient and he able to address all my concerns and get me treated without me having to wait around all day.

Dismissive bedside manner toward this medical patient. Very long wait time and when the doctor finally comes to see me, he rushes such that I feel uncomfortable. Will seek another provider. It's a shame to see people get into the field of healthcare with this type of approach to patient care. I understand cosmetic services are lucrative, but perhaps the clinic should be marketed as a business instead of a medical facility.

Dr. Rasmussen is a fantastic doctor. I've visited his office twice now. Each time I've had an appointment I started as a nervous wreck, but his persona and confidence put me at ease. He is honest, helpful, kind, and funny (he has some great lawyer jokes). He is by far the best doctor I've come across. Even though my condition was something I am sad and anxious about, when I leave his office I feel taken care of.
