Very unprofessional, I accompanied my fiancé to visit Steven Sapsowitz for a check up after she had been in a horrible accident. Her appointment was at 1:30pm, we arrived at 1:00pm. We were not seen by Mr. Sapsowitz until 2:15 which was fine with my fiancé and I, we understand that some appointments may run over plus the front office staff was very polite. It was when Mr. Sapsowitz walked in the room that our nightmare had started... as soon as he opened the door he appeared to be flustered and immediately asked my fiancé what all surgeries she had got done, before even formally introducing himself. We could tell that he didn't want us here and that was such a humiliating feeling. He then proceeds to cut my fiancé off as she's explaining her surgeries and says " OMG I don't have time to write all of this down, I have 2 more patients waiting!" He blamed us as if we were late but we were actually 30 minutes early. Me and my fiancé looked at each other in disgust.

I started seeing him about 10 years ago, and although his bedside manner is a bit blunt, he is an excellent doctor. He is very thorough and listens. His office has changed and he is now part of a bigger practice, but he still takes time with me.

I have been trying to reach this doctor for weeks. The phones are either forwarded to answering service or they just let the phone ring continuously. I have left two messages with staff that have not been addressed and I have sent two messages via their online system to no avail. I don't feel like they care about their patients unless you have paid a copay and are sitting in the office. I have been a patient for years, now I'm going elsewhere.

Yes he is a bit funky. I changed docs, chose Sap. Persistent type 2 problem, usual meds moderately working. Sap took an hour to visit with me, exploring personal habits, stressors, diet, meds. He added a med to facilitate insulin management. Immediately numbers down 80%! Because he took an hour and did some thinking. He also suggests non med supposed and habits. He is a thinker. Yes, a funky thinker. His staff has always been helpful. Office a bit dated.

This mine and my husband's new doctor. We started seeing him for kidney problems my husband has, and I started seeing him for my sleep disorder. He is VERY thorough. He makes sure he covers all bases and he is a very good listener. He has my husband's imaging referral sent out same day and they called us to schedule before the end of that day. Blood work back in 3 days, and when my insurance rejected the initial approval for my medication he appealed and had it approved. Wonderful dr and staff!!

Went in for a twisted/broken ankle and left with a custom Splint, Wheelchair service to vehicle and recommendations for X-Ray (Image Processing). Give the Doc a try. He might be blunt and straight to the point, but he knows his stuff. All details of a well rounded Family Doctor.

RUN, RUN as fast as you can. This doctor and his staff are TERRIBLE communicators. First off, he is awkward in person. He will NOT look at you when he speaks. Secondly, he totally dropped the ball on a surgery consent form I needed and, as a result, the surgery that had been scheduled for a month had to be postponed! When I spoke to the staff about this, I said, "So, you are telling me that surgery that has been planned for a month needs to be postponed?" Their response (not kidding), "Yep."
