I saw Dr. Seiler for consultation and hand surgery November 2022. When I was in preop and he marked the surgical area, I said that little bump was not my chief complaint but the larger area- he dismissed me. I was laying on the operating room table confirming the area of my chief complaint was going to be operated on, and again was dismissed. During my postop visit, I reported that he did not address the issue with my hand, he said the swelling would subside however, I know my body, and it was the bone which i confirmed twice in preop, and was not part of his surgical plan. This, Dr could not see the force through the trees, didn't listen, therefore causing me to have surgery a second time on the same area 1.5 yrs later. he is 'retired 'and no longer employed with OCR ! His surgery was too fast and my surgical area wasnt numb when I woke up. Very painful.

Cortisone injection
I saw Dr Seiler for painful osteoarthritis in the thumb and hand. A cortisone injection was given perfectly! Though the injection hurt and bruised me, i got pain relief and I am painfree two months out.

Excellent explanation
Very nice at communicating and making sure you k ow your condition, treatment, and recovery expectations. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Office was friendly and the visit was speedy. Only downside was they don’t have a portal which is odd, so you have no way to read doctors notes or get records.

Dr Steven Seiler (Fort Collins OCR)
Dr. Steven Seiler and his team at OCR provided multiple hand casts/splints after fracturing (2) fingers on my right hand. Dr. Seiler also performed orthopedic surgery and installed a plate on my middle finger to facilitate ossification of the bone to repair the fracture. He will also perform a 2nd surgery to remove the plate and remove scar tissue that is preventing my extensor/flexor tendons to go through their full ranges of motion. Dr. Seiler is a very professional, though personable, orthopedist, serving in OCR’s Loveland & Ft Collims locations. Highly Recommended!

I had trigger finger surgery. Dr. Seiler and all the staff were very kind and professional, patiently answering all the questions they had likely answered a hundred times before. I would recommend Dr. Seiler to others. Excellent doctor.

Does this guy even work? The ER referred me to him had an appointment scheduled in May (cancelled he was out of town) and 2 cancelled in June (he was sick) now I’m told it’s a full month to get in with another Dr for my broken thumb. After reading some of these reviews here it seems I may have dodged a bullet.

He didn't biopsy my brother's tumor to see if it was malignant before doing surgery. When it came back malignant, he told my brother he would most likely have to have his arm amputated. He is not an oncology surgeon and should never have said that to my brother. My brother is now in the good hands of an oncology surgeon who is not going to amputate his arm. My brother suffered 3 weeks of unnecessary stress because of Dr. Seiler.
