Outstanding Surgeon
I traveled out of state and an hour-and-a-half to receive eye care from Dr. Sterling. I was told he was 'the best' and that was proven in the care he has provided me. He is extremely professional and personalble, making me feel most at ease in having him provide my care. I strongly recommend him as well as the Eye Surgery Center of Knoxville.

Dr. Sterling successfully removed cataracts on my post RK eyes, and I now have 20/20 vision. I am thankful beyond words for his knowledge and skill in managing the challenges presented by a past RK patient like me. He and his entire staff are top notch, and I recommend them to anyone seeking excellent and compassionate eye care.

He is very thorough and doesn’t rush through his exams. It’s rare to find a doctor who is truly compassionate and treats you as an individual and not a “statistic”. He truly cares about his patients getting the best treatment they deserve.

Cataract Surgery
My Eye Dr recommended Dr Sterling for surgery. I thought he was a straight shooter. Day of surgery, I was anxious about it, but everyone in the Surgery Center Team helped me out and before I knew it, I was out and on the way home. I have another surgery scheduled and honestly am looking forward to it. Thanks to all involved, I appreciate your assistance and will see you again soon!

Dr. Sterling seems more concerned with quantity instead of quality. Patients are rushed through in an assembly line fashion. After my surgery, the pressure ran dangerously high because he had failed to clean out the debris from cataract removal and I had to have an emergency procedure. He's probably a capable doctor if he would take the time to provide quality care instead of trying to see how many people he can run through there in a day.

What a kind and compassionate practice! I looked to Dr. Sterling after needing two surgeries to remove cataracts. Initially, I was fearful and extremely terrified. Dr. Sterling was patient and proactive in detailing how the surgery would be performed, including me throughout the treatment process to minimize my anxiety. Dr. Sterling provided the utmost attention during after-care procedures and dedicated time to ensure for complete success. What a doctor!

Dr sterling recently did cataract surgery on both of my eyes, both within 3 weeks. I am a college umpire and i obviously had to have surgery for my profession. This guy was recommended by my optomitrist and dr sterling was very caring and did a great job. Now all the coaches can't tell i am blind anymore. He is a great doctor in my opinion and i will recommend him to anyone i know with eye problems, great doctor
