Knee replacement
Dr. Wardell replaced my right hip February 2015, and I had great results. He replaced my right knee January 25th of this year, I'm a head of schedule in my recovery, and very satisfied with the whole experience.

Great doctor.
Dr Wardell revised my right hip and my right knee. My recovery was amazing. He did a great job. My initial replacement in 1998 had a 16" incision. Dr Wardell used a 5" incision. I will probably see him again as I'm having trouble with my right leg and I think my femoral prosthesis might be lose.

I was extremely happy with my new hip replacement surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Steven Wardell. I was able to walk as soon as my meds wore off & able to go home. Home health & out patient rehab helped me get stronger every day. All my questions were answered by the staff always & at any time. Every thing ran smoothly! I can do everything I want again, walk long distances, climb stairs, & take the grandkids for stroller rides! I am thankful every day for how great I feel again! Don’t wait any longer call Dr Steven Wardell. ??

I would highly recommend Dr Wardell and entire staff at Parkview Orthopedic. From the Medical assistants to the physicians assistants to the physical therapists to Dr Wardell himself all were absolutely top notch. This was the second knee I had Dr Wardell replaced on me. My right knee was done 5 years ago and my left on I just had done 2 months ago. Both knees are functioning perfectly! I couldn’t be happier with the results!

Dr.Wardell is very friendly and informative. His smile and manner puts you at ease. He provides ample and able people to help prepare one for surgery and answer all pre-op questions. His follow-through was good because I was able to ask more questions and receive direct info. all his staff were friendly and reassuring. I was completely satisfied with his organized and friendly staff.

Dr. Wardell replaced my right knee July 2019, and right hip July 2020. I am PAIN free now. He and his team prepared me for surgery. They answered all my questions regarding the procedure, as well as recovery. In addition the added precautions they took regarding Covid was comforting. He is a great surgeon! I never felt rushed in my appointments with him. I would highly recommend him if you are experiencing hip/knee pain. Barb Plantz August 2020

I just finished my rehab at Parkview on my 2nd hip replacement surgery this year. Dr Wardell did a fantastic job on both hips with this second surgery going very smoothly. I was up and moving in no time and had a very easy time of rehabing. The PT's at the Mokena location are very caring and knowledgeable( thanks Dina!) and helped me to rehab in 6 weeks. I am looking forward to golfing in 6 weeks and cannot say enough good things about the Doctor Wardelland staff at Parkview.

This was a 2 year check up for hip replacement surgery. I like how this doctor listens. At each step of my surgery and recovery the doctor and his office LISTEN and answer questions. I've had excellent results because of the treatment from Dr. Wardell and Parkview Orthopedics. I have recommended this doctor to friends and will continue to suggest his name to others.

I had a full hip replacement and the surgery was done as an outpatient procedure. I could not be happier with the results! I was in and out of the surgery center and home in about 5 hours. The home nurse and therapy were at my home the same day. Dr. Wardell and his staff are excellent and I would highly recommend them.
