Dr.Ascher was one of my first psychiatrists when I was a student at UMass and after many years I still recall what a great and caring man he was! He always went out of his way to make sure I was ok at all times.

Kat: Issues like these should be reported to the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine. Also, your experience with this doctor should be reported to your medical insurance company. It's a good idea to hire an attorney to review your complaints before submitting them to the state and your carrier. If enough people complain about this doctor (and you aren't the first), he'll finally be forced to change his behavior or resign his license to practice.

This guy is AWFUL. I don't think he has been on time for ONE of my appointments with him. Once he was so late he missed my appointment completely, I sat in the waiting room for an hour, and when he could finally see me he could only give me 15 minutes. If he calls you he calls 5 times or more during the times you said you couldn't take calls. When you call him back he is too busy to take your call and never calls back. The MOST unprofessional person I have met. Should be FIRED.
