How would I know?
My wife visited BRMC on 9-10-24, we waited 2 hours was told it would be another 2 hours. We left. A month later we get a statement from Ballad health. They had billed our insurance $599 for a level 2 er visit. Our copay is $135. Ballad used the med code 99282 CPT, which is a medium intervention , evaluation by an MD, signed off by Dr Stewart A. Stancil. My wife did not see an MD. Her condition turned serious and less than 2 weeks later she had an operation and was an inpatient at JCMC for 4 days. We did not see Dr Stancil, but he signed off that he had seen my wife. Is he and Ballad Health ethical, I think not. In order to send this I had to check that i have received care from Dr Stancil, We have never received care from Dr Stancil or BRMC ER

Dr Stancil wost doctor ever it was like he was in space land.. like he wasnt even present.. his mind was a mile away i had to keep asking the same questions over and ove again and his answers made no sense.. i see he had some filed against him some about perscribing drugs for a co worker.. i would not trust him to even take my temperature. if i went to this hospital again i would not let him see me. while we were waiting to check out he was flirting with the girl that work the desk ringt in front of me. not professional at all. if i could give negative stars i would

Literally the most sketched out unhelpful dr I’ve ever seen! I sat for 9 hours in the er waiting room for him to come in ask me what I thought was wrong with me as he nervously doodled on a piece of paper and asked me if it was still raining when it was never raining at all! He paced around the room told me I needed to go see a neurologist after never even examining me or asking what was wrong with me at all! Wouldn’t even bring me my paper work or answer any questions I had.

Waited for 7-8 hrs in the ER. This doctor spent 2 minutes with my mother and when she asked him for clarification about her presenting symptoms which had led us to go to the ER (shortness of breath, low oxygen saturation) , he told us to have a good night and left the room instead of taking the time to answer. While I understand being busy, it’s important for physicians to make sure their patient understands their diagnosis, treatment, etc. My mom is elderly and we both felt it was very rude, unprofessional and unhelpful of him to not explain/clarify medical symptoms to his patient.
