Making an appt was easy. There was no other medical staff besides himself. The visit was fine, but it did feel like he was trying to get me to commit to expensive custom orthotic insoles right there. I've been an athlete for a long time & know there's no quick fix to an injury. I decided to try physical therapy & switch to more stable/orthotic sneakers before committing to custom insoles. When I requested PT, Dr. Bernstein called me back leaving a message saying: he was perplexed by this, thought we were moving forward w/orthotics, kept mentioning $, that we could work something out, that I'd be spinning my wheels with PT & that PT is like putting a band-aid on it. I think Dr. Bernstein makes his living off of selling these custom insoles vs caring for a patients well-being & looking for better treatment options that would be beneficial long term, even if it did include custom orthotics in the end. I will not be seeking his medical help moving forward.

Dr. Bernstein has treated me and my daughter. He is so good with kids and has some of the best bedside manner I've ever encountered from any doctor. He is just an all around wonderful person who truly cares about his patients.
