excellent results!
Dr. Carter performed my cataract surgery. He not only strikes me as competent, but as a man who truly loves his profession. He made me feel at ease prior to my procedure. The results were truly outstanding. I can see feathers on a bird and blades of grass blowing in the breeze for the first time in years.

Excellent Care, Excellent Results
My eyes have had a number of issues for years, and most recently cataract development. Dr. Carter and his team gave me a thorough evaluation during my preoperative visit, and discussed my history, my goals for surgery, and the options that would work best for me. Although they had many options available, they explained everything including pros and cons of each and guided me to the one that would work best for my eyes (which happened to be the one insurance fully covered!) Thanks to the lengthy discussion and follow up, I got exactly the results I wanted. Surgery was smooth and easy. Dr. Carter did an amazing job. I highly recommend him and his team!

Cataract surgery
My cataract surgery did not go as planned. One eye is fine but the other eye is not clear. I did pay the $3200 for a special lense for this eye and I was then told to see an optometrist to get fitted for a contact lens. Originally I was told that if I am unhappy with the result of my surgery that the doctor could replace the lense. At my last appointment the doctor did not want to change the lens. I don’t understand!

Stay away from this practice!!!
I saw Dr. Carter on December 13, 2023. My former ophtalmologist had retitred and a family member recommended Dr. Carter. First of all it took awhile until I could speak to a person to make an appointment. When making the appointment I explained to the woman I was speaking to that my doctor had retired and I needed to make an appointment for my yearly exam. After arriving , I waited for 45 minutes to be seen. A nurse or tech took me back and proceeded to put drops in my eyes and ask me a few questions.Once my eyes were dialated. Dr. Carter came in looked into my eyes and said everything looked fine and that it was nice to meet me as he walked out of the exam room.. The woman in the office said I could leave. I said 'Wait' my vision was not checked. She proceeded to tell me that Dr. Carter does not do that. I was flabbergjasted. I made an appointment for a regular exam! Now my insurance paid him and I had to find another eye doctor and pay out of pocket for my eye exam. Beware! .
