I would give him 5 stars.
He took a definite interest in me when I walked in. Dr. Proothi cares about his patients and is always ready to help. I get a big smile when he walks in and I feel like I'm important to him and my condition. Would recommend him to patients that want a personal touch.

Staying alive!!
Dr. Proothi is a caring and compassionate oncologist, and is concerned about the whole person--not just the sick part of your body. I'm grateful for the hope and assurance that the course of treatment will allow me to live out my full life expectancy. Although he has a different faith background than me, he understands that my faith is important to me, and respects the intersection of medicine and prayer for many of his patients.

Very Compitent and Highly Recommended Doctor
Dr. Proothi is one of the best doctors I have come across. He is very knowledgable in his field. He has a great bedside manner. He is not only very thorough but also takes his time when he is with you. His demeanor is very plesant, calm, and very personable. He takes the time out to explain what procedures he is ordering and makes sure you, as the patient, understand why he is doing what he is doing and what will occur. I would highly recommend Dr. Proothi for anyone who needs a Hemotologist-Oncologist. In my opinion, you can't get anyone better. My partner has been a patient of Dr. Proothi's for over 3 years now. He has been and continues to be very consistent. Dr. Proothi deserves 5 out fo 5 stars in all categories for health care.

Dr. Proothi is an excellent oncologist and hematologist. He is extremely knowledgable in his profession and listens to all of his patients questions and needs. Highly Recommended
In the time that I have been a patient of Dr. Proothi, I have found him to be extremely knowledgeable about his field of study, clearly staying up to date on current studies and advances in the field of oncology. His willingness to consult with renowned cancer specialists resulted in a change in my original treatment plan and shows his willingness to search out best practices for his patients. He then shares his knowledge in a way that can easily be understood by non-medical professionals. He has a comforting manner and reassuring presence. He takes the time to listen to me and address all of my questions and concerns at every visit.

An extraordinary physician
Dr. Subhash Proothi is an incredibly knowledgeable hematologist-oncologist. When my wife had multiple myeloma and, later, lung cancer, "second opinion" visits to nationally renowned doctors in New York City and Philadelphia only confirmed Dr. Proothi's diagnoses and treatment regimes. And, aside from his technical, up-to-date medical knowledge, Dr. Proothi's gentle and caring spirit is a rare gift to his patients.

Outstanding, thorough, and compassionate
Dr. Proothi has been treating my father for MDS for an estimated six months. initially, he was seeing a different hematology oncologist for the same diagnosis. Once Dr. Proothi took over my dad‘s care, he was immediately put on a solid infection preventative plan, watched more closely for his high risk of bleeding and clotting, and was treated with compassion and attention to detail. I cannot say enough good about Dr. Proothi and his care. I highly recommend this physician for anyone suffering from a blood disorder and/or blood cancer disease. He is the best of the best. My father’s bloodwork has normalized, and his bone marrow biopsy demonstrates major improvement in making normal red blood cells.

Caring, Compassionate, and Extremely Knowledgeable
Dr. Proothi has been my oncologist for over 10 years. During this time, he has provided me with outstanding care. He is always available to answer my questions. He even reached out to me while I was on vacation in Hawaii due to an issue that arose with some blood work that I had. He is very caring and compassionate. He provides you with all of your treatment options. Then, he works with you as a team to develop your treatment plan. His vast knowledge and treatment skills are unrivaled. He provides the highest level of care to all of his patients. Any person who has Dr. Proothi as their oncologist is very fortunate.

LOVE him!
Dr. Proothi took care of my mother in 1988 and, more recently, my dad a couple of years ago. I developed a relationship with him through their care and when I was diagnosed with CLL in 2020, there is no one I would trust more with my care. He is easy to talk to, doesn't mind all my questions and takes the time to explain things in a way that I can understand. My experience has shown Dr. Proothi to be kind, compassionate and easily available with questions.
