Dr. Subhasis Maitra, MD

Over the years, he’s become less caring to the children and what seem more about in and out patients. After 10 years we informed the office we were leaving taking all of our children elsewhere, and we’ve been treated even worse since then. Cancelling appointments for bs reasons, without calling or voicemails, just to tell us “oh we called you multiple times” (this has occurred 3 times now, my teenage daughter even said “you guys always say that”…… they had me wait 45 minutes with a crying toddler for Subhasis, that never showed up, I walked out after finding out they were lying about my appointment time when I had an email from my wife to prove. STAY AWAY! My kids have picked up on him not really caring anymore. I made an appointment for my toddler at another Village Medical, only for them to tell my wife it was cancelled when she arrived. Their actual words “we don’t have a reason for the cancellation”……..the reason is because I called out Subhasis’ out for lying and treating us bad

Stay far away

He listens to his patients with both ears! He advises when he can and when not in his area of expertise, he doesn't hesitate to recommend a specialist. Have been going to him since he opened his practice and have every bit of confidence in him and his knowledge. Also, a kind person and caring! His staff wonderful. His nurse, Elena, gives the best shots ever!!! Angela is so helpful, and so is Ashley. Can't say enough good about this person and his staff. Highly recommended!

Dr. Maitra doesn't seem to care about his patients. He does not take the time to figure out what is wrong with them. He just wants to get them in and out without asking for any details about their issues as to why they are there. He also does not want to bother with returning any sort of phone calls no matter how important they are to the patient. Therefore I am now going to see a different doctor about the very same issue.

Doctor Maitra is prompt, attentive and always answers all my questions. Office staff returns calls promptly and has excellent follow up.

I've been a patient of Dr. Maitra's for the past five years and am very happy with the care I've received. I've never had any issues making an appointment and the wait time are minimal. The front office staff has always been courteous as well. I've seen their new PA, Taylor a couple of times and she's always in an upbeat and positive mood. I would definitely recommend Dr. Maitra.
