A brilliant surgeon and fine man
From the very beginning this man knew he could help me when other doctors couldn’t. His calm and thoughtful demeanor underlies his ability to diagnose and explain in plain terms what the surgical procedure will do to alleviate the problem. His entire staff and anyone who has come to know him hold him in the highest possible esteem. He’s a very gifted doctor and fine gentleman.

I have so much appreciation & respect for Dr. Magg
I was dx w severe cervical spinal stenosis with cord compression & injury. I could barely walk & struggled w my arms too. Dr. Magge did a double cervical fusion 7-2021. He is so super friendly and puts you at ease. He takes the time to answer all your questions. My situation was considered an emergency and he made room for me. I can't recommend him highly enough! If you are scared, like I was...I promise you are in good hands with this brilliant surgeon.

I can't thank Dr. Magge enough. I was about to start using a walker due to lumbar stenosis. Horrible leg pain and weakness. Tried all the usual fixes with no help. Dr Magge performed Partial Laminectomy in March 2019. Now 6 months later I'm back to running and ran 11 miles yesterday. Albeit much slower than I used to run but I'm running. Pain was gone when I woke up from surgery. I would have this surgery again in a minute for the relief it gave me. Many thanks!

A friend recommended Dr. Magge to help me with the pain and numbness I was having. He makes you feel very comfortable, takes his time, and answers any questions that you have. I am 4 weeks post up from ACDF (double fusion), haven't needed any pain meds in over 2 weeks, and recovering well. From the preop visit, to through the entire process, it couldn't have gone smoother.

I had experienced a sciatic condition for a year and a half. After a number of spinal injections..they seized to be affective. It’s been two years since Dr. Magge did a spinal fusion. I was cared for by him and his staff. It was the best thing I could have done. It’s been two years, now. Highly recommended this doctor.

Dr Magge did my ALIF in 2012. He was professional, very friendly and had a great team. This was my 2nd back surgery and am now back to doing things I love, like hiking/biking etc. My recovery went very smoothly and I believe it went so well because of his skill. I would highly recommend him to any of my friend/family/neighbors/patients.

Dr. Magge is top in his field. An accident at work left me with a disabling neck injury including a disc protrusion at C6,7 that over time began to compress on my spinal cord. On August 25, 2016 I underwent a C6,7 ACDF. This surgery required working very close to the spinal cord at the cervical level with the potential for permanent nerve injury. I am confident I would not have had the results I did with any other surgeon. I can not recommend him more highly

He was fantastic. He figured out what was wrong with my legs and back after looking for 4 years of going to many Dr's and hospitals all over New England. He operated on me and has been right on with the recovery rate and what to expect. Thanks so much.
