Dr. Misra made my 16-year old daughter cry. She has underlying medical issues that apparently he did not review prior to seeing her for the first time. His comments to her very impersonal and hurtful and not what a pediatric physician should provide. He made these comments three (3) times in the course of his exam. We will not be back!

Dr Misra is a wonderful and very patient provider. He explained things carefully and answered all of our questions. He took the time to include my 3yo daughter (the patient) in the conversation. Most doctors wouldn’t bother to do that. At the end of our appointment he reminded us he is always reachable by calling the office. Having been an RN for over 15 years I have seen both good and not-so-good providers, and in my opinion Dr Misra is an excellent provider. I would definitely recommend him to others.

The staff was very friendly and socialized with my son which made him feel comfortable even though he was nervous at first. As for with me the parent they were very helpful with any questions I had and made sure I understood what all was going on before letting me go home which I greatly appreciated.

The office was very welcoming. The nurse was extremely friendly and you could tell he has worked with kids for a while. The dr spent enough time with us and made us feel welcomed. He answered all of my questions and even though summerville was a ride for my family we dont regret going here. Excellent people all over the office!

This was such an efficient office. Our wait time was only minutes, the office staff was polite and caring, the office was clean and had a fun atmosphere for kids! It was truly a state of the art facility with games and technology to entertain children. I would definitely recommend Dr. Misra to anyone who needs this type of service!

From scheduling my daughters appointment to meeting Dr. Misra and his staff, the whole experience was exceptional! I am in the health care field and I have always said, treat patients the way you would want your own family treated. This is exactly the level of care we received at the office. As a nurse i will and have recommended Dr. Misra and Pediatric Gastroenterology.

To be fair my child saw Dr. Misra at a different hospital than his current one. Our whole experience was an absolute nightmare. But, focusing on him as a doctor, I also left almost every appointment crying. I also have a career in a health field. We had to move on from him and find someone new.

I would never recommend him as a pediatric doctor. He was extremely physically and emotionally rough and short with my child. We were there for my child having two months of diarrhea, and he diagnosed my child with constipation. He did not listen to nor hear anything I was saying. I refuse to take my child back there. I cried several times afterwards because I felt so bad for entrusting my child in his care. I have experience in the medical field, and something is not right with this doctor.
