After a 5 min telehealth appt about getting off/changing my birth control because of headaches & some monthly hormonal changes, Dr. Kafali prescribed me an antidepressant, to take a pain reliever for 2 weeks leading up to my period every month & to increase my birth control dosage. No blood work or physical was done, she just treated everything blindly with more meds within 5 minutes. I said I didn't want the meds given I've never been prescribed anything like that or felt I needed it. She basically insisted & I just never picked it up. Turns out, I was also already on the highest dosage of birth control. I ended up scheduling a telehealth appt with an outside Doc and spoke with them for over 30 mins. They actually listened to my concerns & really helped me. Dr. Kafali's office has also since called me to schedule more appointments - something I've never experienced before where a Doc's office is chasing after me to schedule appointments. It feels like everything is about the $$.

Dr. Kafali is hostile towards patients
Dr. Kafali has still not apologized for grabbing my shoulder and pushing me in her office, unwarranted, on March 29,2022, during a pre-op appt. with Dr. Tamara Perry. I no longer want to patronize their office despite loving my relationship with Dr. Tamara Perry. It's a shame that Dr. Perry will lose business because of Dr. Kafali's unprofessionalism, and disgusting behavior towards patients.

I've been a patient of Dr. Kafali's for 6 years. I've never felt more heard by a Dr. I'm so grateful for her recommendations and referral's. Her honesty and expert opinions have helped guide me to wellness and build a family. She's pointed out thing's that were unwell in my body that I had no clue were even happening at least 3 times now. I've realized how important it is to see her yearly even when I think everything's great. I can't tell you how much I appreciate having a Dr. I trust.

I have been a patient with Dr Kafali for about 5 years. She is amazing. I am very pleased that I have found an OB/GYN as friendly as her. I am very comfortable with her, she has delivered both of my children. She is meticulous with her work, ex. patient results, follow ups, and referrals. I had to see a high risk specialist for both of my pregnancies and a nutritionist for another, she made sure I left with information before leaving the office. She also goes through all the lab work results with you. Her bedside manner is real as it gets, she can relate. Dr Kafali actually listens to you and takes her time. She also gets straight to the point when there’s concern. I feel she goes the extra mile to assure that you are happy.

I have been waiting 5 months for test results, she has still not given them to me. I called again today to speak with her and was told she would call me back by the end of the day and she never called me back and the answering service would not connect me to her when I called at 4:40 even though they are marked as being open til 5 on google. When she originally called me back with test results, she left them as a voicemail on my phone. She is unprofessional and, honestly, the worst doctor I have ever had. I do not recommend you go here, unless you want to have your health be taken as a joke.

First of all, the office staff is utterly incompetent and rude. Dr. Kafali ordered an unnecessary test when I went in for a simple procedure then called me to make another appointment (which I pay for out of pocket; original visit cost $350) to "discuss next steps" after having left an ominous voicemail. Well, it turns out there are no next steps necessary. I got a new doctor who told me that there was absolutely nothing to worry about and that the procedure I need takes 2 minutes and is very simple. And that is why I went to Kafali in the first place! And if you go to her, expect a sales pitch about her other services.

Dr. Kafali has been my OB-GYN for the last seven years and I'm planning to keep her as long as I live in Chicago. She's very diligent in every practice she offers. In addition to my regular check ups and treatments, she also delivered my daughter. She's a caring and highly dependable doctor. I had an excellent pregnancy and birth experience, thanks to her guidance and extensive knowledge. She came to the hospital to see me soon after I checked in for labor and was there all night and made the timely and right call for c-section when my infection put me and my baby in danger. Her passion for ecstatic and cosmetic gynecology became very obvious to me as she used a stitch technique that's used for plastic surgery, which left hardly any scar on the incision area. I definitely recommend Dr. Kafali as she truly cares about women's health and it's her everyday passion to make women feel empowered and healthy.

I have been seeing Dr. K for about 15 years (just saw her this morning) and feel compelled to leave a review since I could not disagree more w some of these reviewers. It makes me think they have some personality issues to leave these types of comments. She is always informative & understanding, but is also not afraid to say what you may not want to hear/she does not sugar coat. I had my last baby at 38yr (now 40) and while I do not feel old, Dr K had explained to me that any lady over 35 is past her best reproductive years & (medically) is considered an "older mom", which makes it a "high-risk" pregnancy. She did not tell me this to be offensive, but rather to make sure I was aware of the potential dangers and that I take the right steps/tests to make sure I had a healthy pregnancy and easy birth process. I think some people may not understand that logic. Anyway, I am very happy w her, I have 3 healthy kids and she has always guided me very well with my own health decisions.

I love Dr. Kafali! She makes you feel part of the family and takes time to explain things to you. She is caring, patient, and understands what you are going through. She recently delivered my baby and cannot imagine anyone else doing it. I'll never have a different OB! I will come to her even when I move to the suburbs!

Dr. Kafali was by OB during my pregnancy. I wasn't thrilled with her, but as I was having a healthy pregnancy I figured it was all right. The office was disorganized, the staff was rude, she waved off my concerns, but I figured as long as she was a good doctor those things were passable. Our daughter ended up having a severe neural tube defect. Dr. Kafali waited over a week to tell us, though the results were immediately obvious on the 20 week ultrasound. I thought I was coming in for a

Dr. Kafali was the best from my first visit. I have recommended her to family and friends. She was great when delivering my son and throughout my pregnancy considering I was high risk. She answered all my questions and was not just professional but caring as well. I plan on keeping her as one of my doctors. Love her staff as well.

I not recommend this doctor to ANYONE. Dr. Kafali is careless, unprofessional, and disrespectful. try talking to Her and you will not get a word in. She interrupts every time I talk, doesn't end up answering the questions and just leaves me confused. She doesn't explain what's happening and rushes me out the door within 5 minutes. when voicing my concerns to her, she becomes very argumentative and aggressive. Halfway through my pregnancy and I'm not going back! Awful awful experience.

I cannot say enough great things about dr. Kafali. If I ever moved out of Chicago I would still fly back to see her. I have been seeing her for 10 years and she oversaw all 3 of my pregnancies, and all went smooth and without issues. She is very caring, personable and fun, yet very professional, knowledgeable and competent. I highly recommend dr. Kafali, you will not be disappointed.

I have been to two of Dr. Kafali's offices and they have both been great experiences. When I got a chance to meet Dr. Kafali for and in office procedure, she was very was full of information about my condition, she took the time to explain the pros and cons of my condition. I felt much more informed than when I left. I have other appointments scheduled with Dr. Kafali and all I can say to this point is so far so good.

Dr. Kafali is a wonderful physician in whom I have complete confidence. I have a tendency to read up on health issues before I come in, and she always knows of the studies I mention. She gives her educated opinion and in terms I can understand. She truly cares. She is sensitive to her patients? physical and emotional concerns. On more than one occasion she has asked me how I am emotionally when she sees I look stressed or depressed. She never rushes. Her staff is friendly and efficient too.
