I was referred to Dr Kumar by my primary doctor and I can’t thank him enough. Dr Kumar was wonderful. He understood what I have been going through for 20 years and offered some answers. I felt that he really cares about his patients and I am happy to be one.

He’s helped me in my journey with rheumatoid arthritis. He listens to all my concerns, and I think we may have finally found a treatment that works. I’ve referred him to a few friends who also like him.

I am new to Greenville and am still in mourning over the friend and Rheumatologist I have had for 10 years. My family laughs at me that “I need a friendly, trusting relationship with my care givers”. Dr. Kumar was recommended by Dr. Vaz, whom I immediately liked! I am big on reviews. The moment that actually cinched the deal was when I walked in for the first time. Someone else manned the patient notes. Dr. Kumar came over and sat right in front of me. I felt I had his undivided attention, both during the exam, and his treatment recommendations. A smile and eye contact offer confidence in my book. He seems sincerely interested in suggesting a plan for my constant pain. I have had a lot of health issues since arriving in SC. Dr. Kumar listened to my recent traumas, and continues, every three months to test, and tweak the protocol. He is knowledgeable, creative and dedicated to his patients. First visit with Dr. Kumar yesterday. He took time to listen to my complicated history, review a pile of past test results & actually asked what I was hoping to achieve going forward with any treatment. Past doctor told me to just "live my life" - medical science has no answers at this time. Dr. Kumar at least seems dedicated to finding ways to improve my quality of life with the limitations & tools medical science/knowledge does currently have and not dismissing my symptoms or concerns.

Dr Kumar was not only inattentive, but completely condescending. He laughed when I told him how severe my pain was. I was not allowed to switch doctors within the practice and was treated as if I had done something wrong. I have never been treated so poorly in a professional setting.

Dr. Kumar is spectacular! He carefully listened to my concerns, explained everything I needed to know, and quickly got me back to feeling great. Every time I see him I know that he will happily answer any questions that I have, and treat my symptoms seriously. I'm extremely happy to have him as my doctor!

He is knowledgeable and has all the answers to any of your questions. I get the feeling that he wants you better not just medicated. That in itself gives me faith in him and hope in myself.

He is determined and compassionate.He takes time to look at all of the symptoms and put everything together to be very thorough in making determinations and diagnoses. He is willing to do his best to integrate my wishes for personal medicine treatments with what I absolutely have to have. I trust him 100%.
