Dealing with Dr. Balulad personally is ok, but her office staff is terrible, and I hold her responsible for them, for she knows what is going on. The first time I went there in 2024 I saw her, and EKG was taken, and when I asked her for a copy of it, she told me to ask at the desk. When I asked the man at the desk, he told me they didn't have any paper. I asked him how they could not have any paper, and that there was a Super Walmart 5 minutes down the road. He had no answer for me. Then I waited for a medical assistant to pass by me and asked him. He took a piece of paper from the garbage that had printing on one side and used that to print my EKG. He told me the doctor does not like to give out paper. A doctor that cheap ? The second time I went there in March 2025, I was not given an appointment with the doctor, rather her NP. I asked where the doctor was and was told she was not even in the office. The NP scheduled me for a echo cardiogram. I asked the NP what is the problem with having paper in the office, and was told that the doctor doesn't want to use paper, and the staff has to bring in their own paper and hide it ! After that was done I told the receptionist that I wanted the follow up with only Dr. Balulad. She agreed and made the appointment. When I went to the follow up in April 2025, I was kept waiting an hour and 15 min. Then the NP came instead of the doctor. I politely told the NP, " Nothing against you, but I specifically made the appointment to see the doctor." She stormed out mad, an started yelling to the doctor on the hallway, " He doesn't want to see me, you deal with him !" I was shocked and furious to be treated that way. Then the Dr. Balulad came in pretending like nothing happened. When I checked out, I told the receptionist what happened, and her arrogant reply was, " I sorry you always don't like our staff here." One of the games these doctors are playing is to hire NPs and PAs to see their patients. They pay them less, and can have more patients in their offices. These people are not doctors, don't have their experience, and they bill your insurance as if you saw the doctor. But this office has some terrible people working there, and Dr. Balulad is well aware of what is going on. That's the last time I go to Dr. Balulad.

Office staff is terrible
While the cardiologist is great the office staff is terrible. They are not friendly and can’t even get a smile out of them. Dealing with office staff on phone trying to schedule is ridiculous. When you explain to them over and over your availability and they insist on still giving you appointment times you can’t make. From reading other reviews seems the office staff is an on going issue but obviously doesn’t get addressed.

We came by the appointment and wait for one hour they take it me to the room. Then I waiting for another one hour. When I check on the waiting room, it was not no patients and I walking through the doctor office. She was sitting and talking on the phone. I told her we have to leave I have another appointment. I didn’t know we will be sitting and waiting for two hours. She never apologize. She never said can you wait for 5-10 minutes, I will be back with you. This is so rude, I will not be recommended this doctor to anyone. Nina

Office employees are the worst!
My second visit and third visit was horrible a nightmare! I even had my insurance company contact them, my insurance company even told me they could not get results! I recommend to go somewhere else. The problem is 100% every person working the desk and doing all the scheduling along with insurance coding and approvals. Plenty of good professional Cardiologist in the area no need for the head aches from this office.

office not able to do their job
I had my appointment with dr. balulad and prior to that appt. I had my cardiologist's office send all my tests that he had ordered for me up until then for dr. balulad to review for a second opinion , well they were unable to find anything, so they sent over a second time of all my tests still they had a hard time. This has gone on for one and half weeks, every time I called they would tell me we will get back to you in10 min. this went on for another week. This office is the worst office management I have ever had to deal with. The bottom line is I never got the resolution why I had the appt. in the first place, I just wanted a second opinion.

Very Confident on improving my AFIB condition
After a referral from my primary Cardiologist, I went to Dr. Balulad for an evaluation and to perform a Catheter Ablation; so, I could stop taking a specific AFIB Rx which had many side effects. After only three visits to the office and the procedure was performed at the hospital with an overnight observation, I have been free from any AFIB episodes for about six weeks and counting. Dr. Balulad and her team was very confident on improving my AFIB condition along with improving my BP readings prior to having my Catheter Ablation procedure performed. I would like to give a Big Thanks! to Dr. Sujata S Balulad, MD and her staff at the hospital and the office for the great care in getting my AFIB possibly symptom-free, so I can get back to enjoying my activities such as my cycling and hobbies.

Highly Qualified & Responsive to Patient Concerns
I selected Dr. Balulad based on her education, experience, board certifications, and philosophy on maintaining patient quality of life. She has been very knowledgeable, efficient, and highly responsive to my concerns. I am very confident that her recommendations are based on years of experience in a variety of settings. The nurse practitioner in her practice, Ronald Kope, is also very knowledgeable, personable, and attentive to patient needs. The office staff have consistently been courteous and helpful in assisting with scheduling and insurance concerns. Although Dr. Balulad’s schedule is typically very full, staff do an outstanding job of rearranging based on cancellations and patient needs.

Fabulous cardiologist!
Dr. Balulad told me she could help me with an A-Fib ablation. I was concerned because my condition was getting worse. I had the procedure over three months ago and I feel great. When she says she can help you she is very sincere. I’ve been recommending her to everyone.
