I was seen by Dr Amarnath today Aug 18, 2020 for ultrasound on thyroid and afterwards she sat and explained results, she was very nice, friendly and completely answered all my questions. I have seen her3 or 4 times the past few years and she always treats me the same way.

I feel fortunate to have Dr Amernath as past of my medical team. She listens well, is compassionate and very knowledgeable. She also spends the time needed to cover all questions and concerns in a manner that us clear and concise.

Dr. Amarnath has always spent a lot of time with me & my family explaining my condition, test results, & strategy for my return to best health. She answers all of our questions in terms that we can understand. I will recommend her to family & friends. She & her staff are very efficient & personable.

I visited Dr Amarnath when I was very sick and definitely not at my best. She was not warm and I felt treated disrespectfully. I think that she was frustrated that she could not figure out how to help me but it felt as if she was taking out this frustration on me. I felt blamed for my illness. When I left the first appointment she stated "come back to see me in 4-6 weeks" so upon leaving I made an appointment at the front desk. When I returned for the follow up visit when she entered the room instead of a greeting the first thing that she said was "why are YOU BACK?" This was over 5 years ago. She was quite young and seemed to be lacking in the empathy and gained wisdom of more experienced doctors. I leave this review not to discredit Dr Amarnath but in the hopes that there is accountability because, for a patient,a negative experience like this affects trust. Good medicine is built upon trust between patient and provider.

She was thorough and took time to explain. She appeared to be very concerned about my numbers. I like how she communicates through email. I'm not close and that is convenient for me. I don't know about the other Drs in this practice, but I really like Dr Amernath!
