I’ve had a career in medical research and devices working with world class scientists and MD’s for decades. I’ve now participated in 3, 5 hour visits with Dr. Gibson and her team as they treat my wife’s ALS. I was dismayed to read two healthgrade reviews, one questioning her knowledge and experience and another who was under the impression Dr. Gibson “wanted to be elsewhere.” Answering my pointed, well studied questions there is no doubt she is an expert in her field and stays abreast of all of the new science and investigational trials as they unfold. Her bedside manor exudes sympathy and understanding and presents a very personal and non-rushed persona. The intermountain region is lucky to be able to access such a high caliber Neurologist.

I've been seeing Dr. Gibson for about 2 years. I have Mysthenia Gravis, a rare neuromusclar condition. Not many drs even neurologists know much about it, but I feel comfortable in her knowledge.

VERY disappointing experience. It took a long time to get the appointment (something like seven weeks), and despite having a number of questions, she made it very obvious she wanted to be elsewhere - and my questions were unanswered. That's unacceptable. As a general rule I have found the physicians within the University of Utah Hospital network to be exceptional, but Dr. Gibson is unfortunately well below that standard. I recommend you seek the services of another physician.

Dr Gibson is very kind and personable. I don't feel her knowledge and experience to be up to the U's standards. I've been going there for many years and I wouldn't choose to return to Dr Gibson.
