I absolutely adore Dr. Pejavar and her staff. She helped me navigate my journey through breast cancer with empathy, wisdom, and confidence. She's a great listener and is very genuine. She takes her time to explain everything in depth, which I really appreciate. While I am glad my journey is over, I do miss her and the wonderful staff at Sharp. Thank you, Dr. Pejavar!

The entire staff at the Sharp cancer center has been amazing. They are very helpful, friendly and organized. Dr. Pejavar is very compassionate and I feel like I'm with a friend during our visits. She is also highly skilled in her practice but is also able to break down the treatment in a way that I can fully understand the process which I really appreciate. I am very grateful to her and the staff as this is a very trying journey and it helps to have this level of support.

I loved how Dr Pejavar listened and remembered my concerns and how she personally monitored my treatment and adjusted as needed. I always felt confident and that matters alot. She's very gentle and kind, intelligent, and knows her stuff. Which is a great combination when you need treatment!

I thoroughly respect and appreciate Dr. Pejavar. I was diagnosed with stage 3B breast cancer and my world flipped on its head. It has now been nearly a 2 year journey, but I have recently been cleared and am hopeful for my future. My daughters continue to sing her praises and bonded with her during our visits together – which was an unexpected bright spot during this experience. She is a compassionate and genuine physician and could also double for a good therapist during some of my hardest times.

She is just wonderful. Very patient with all of my questions and really cares. I have been seeing Dr. Pejavar for six months now and my treatment is wrapping up. She is a delight to see and I actually look forward to our visits. I also appreciate that her and her staff take Covid very seriously and take all of the necessary precautions. Everyone has been so kind and helpful at Sharp Memorial.

Dr. Pejavar was referred to me by a close friend who was a patient of hers 5 years ago. I've had two in-depth consultations with her and start my treatment next week. While I am a little nervous to start this process, she has really set me at ease and has diligently explained the radiation process in detail to me and my family. We are very grateful for her wealth of knowledge, her warm personality, and ability to listen – really listen - to our concerns and address them with both compassion and expertise. I wish more physicians had the caring touch she does, it really helps when one is dealing with cancer.

I have been seeing Dr. Pejavar for over a year now for my invasive ductal carcinoma - which my treatment is coming to an end (yay!). She has been outstanding and I could not have asked for someone as kind and knowledgeable as her. She genuinely cares and takes as much time as I need to get all of my questions addressed - even after hours. I have felt highly confident that I am receiving the best care from her and her team and could not recommend her highly enough. In addition, her staff is very sweet and positive, which helps when one is dealing with cancer.

Dr. Pejavar is the most thoughtful, gentle and professional physician I have met. I am in a very delicate state as I am working through my breast cancer journey, and I feel like I am held so soundly in her care. I cannot recommend her enough

The office staff was wonderful, but Dr. Pejavar was extremely unplesant. She kept talking over me and I could have Googled the advice she gave me. I'm switching doctors.

Erroneously treated with SRS brain radiation for a brain lesion which was not cancer. Second and third opinions concurred that it was an anomaly and not cancer. Previous treatment of three 3-5 mm metastases to brain in 6/2010, resolved, followed by yearly MRI for 9 years with no growth. She insisted I had a recurrence from my yearly scan in 12/18. She performed a chest scan, which was clear. She ordered another MRI 1-1/2 months later, following which she stated it had grown in size and insisted I have radiation treatment. I wanted to compare the 2 scans, but she refused. I wanted a PET scan, but she refused. At that point I was alarmed and went ahead with treatment 2/2018. Was scanned 1-1/2 months after treatment. She was unavailable for followup. Got pathology report, and it showed that the pathologist went back to 6/2010 scan after treatment. It had NOT changed in size. Second and third opinions concurred: No change in size, not cancer.

Had a consultation with her - very knowledgeable and thorough and I was very satisfied with all the information provided. Highly recommended.

Very professional and compassionate, definitely stands out from other physicians I've seen.
