The best internist anywhere
He has been our internist for 18 years and we have never had a more knowledgeable and caring internist. He is in call himself 24/7 and when we have had to go to Greenwich Hospital he is there. Dr Rana is a gift! There aren’t enough stars for this doctor!!!

Dr. Rana has been my Primary Care doctor for many years. I have never met a kinder doctor, or one who listens as carefully to my questions, and answers them thoroughly. Just seeing his kind face and hearing his voice, makes me feel better. I saw him recently to have staples removed from a head wound.

Excellent my husband and I have been in his care for about eight years. He is extraordinarily compassionate and thorough. I am a cancer patient I credit Dr Rana for diagnosing what three local doctors missed... We are happy to be in his care.

Terrible, Dr. Rana is dismissive of seniors and the care they need. He also neglects to bill appropriately when patient is under the QMB Medicare savings program. Meaning they should not get a bill. He is also dismissive of inquires on alternative medicines , with a simple “no”. He also never suggests that blood work can be done at home when the patient is home bound. Seriously does not care about the individual, especially the elderly.

He has misdiagnosed me NUMEROUS times and prescribed me the wrong medication NUMEROUS times. Most recently causing me an allergic reaction and a hospital visit because it was too much of an inconvenience for him to check my records and see if I had had a reaction in the past. I had called the doctor on call who quickly prescribed me the right medication. Never going here again. You are rushed in and out of the door. His practice has gotten too big and he has lost touch with his patients.
