He followed my ground glass lesion for 8 years. Then, when i received a weird article about lung cancer by a fluke in an email, I went back to him although research could have "put the lesion to bed" after 8 years of no change. He DID go ahead and do one more CT which showed a density and enlargement. He said his staff was going to get me scheduled at Banner U for a biopsy. I wanted to go to Mayo. He said "they'll make you start over". That was untrue. After 1 wk of no call from the staff, I did my own research, found that biopsy was not to be done, and I went to Mayo. I indeed had adenocarcinoma tumor T1N0M0-removed by Davinci Robotic Surgery with 4 little holes. I fortunately had no nodes or metastasis. it was indeed lung cancer needing removal of the upper left lobe after wedge resection of the tumor so no spread. Do your own research and be your advocate. He listened to me, but no biopsy plan by his staff; I did my own research. Thank you. I am one year cancer free.

He took me to a viewing area so I could see the x-rays and CT scan of my lungs. Of course I couldn't tell what is what, without him explaining what we were looking at. He took his time, did not rush me in-and-out. He is very polite, excellent bed-side manners. I feel very safe, as his patient.
