Dr. Sunita Jain, MD

I really liked Dr. Jain when I first began seeing her. It was right after I had lost a significant amount of weight and she was helpful and I felt gave me good care. However, during the pandemic I gained some of my weight back and when I went in for an appointment, her demeanor was dismissive. Now I need to see a doctor and I'm 15lbs heaver than the last time, so I just won't go see her and that's not a good thing. I think she has a serious bias against patients who struggle with their weight. If you are a person of size, she is probably not the right physician for you.

Sunita Jain, MD, doesn't listen, has a heartless demeanor, is very rude, and talks in a belittling manner. Sometimes she is nice but other times she is very rude so we had to change our doctor. There is no telling what mood she will be in on any given day. We don’t recommend her. Her office staff seems nice though. This review is my personal opinion based on my experience with the said doctor.

Dr Jain is one of the best physicians I have ever had. She is thoughtful and thorough. Incredibly knowledgeable and competent. I've always just accepted the physician based on my health insurance and to be honest I was never really thrilled with the choices. Then one day I asked my ophthalmologist (who is amazing) if he knew a good primary care physician and I was referred to Dr Jain. I couldn't be more thankful for that referral. I absolutely adore this doctor.

I have seen Dr. Jain twice. Each time she seems to be more interested in my weight than the reason I am coming in to see her. The last time I had a visit with her, she not only commented on my weight but also treated me as if I were drug-seeking. I would have given her the benefit of the doubt if this had been my first experience, but unfortunately it wasn't. I leave her office feeling uncomfortable and judged. I will be switching insurances and finding a new PCP during open enrollment.

She doesn't listen, provides no feedback, has a heartless demeanor, doesn't discuss anything, and talks to me in a belittling manner in a rude tone of voice. I don't even know why I still go to her. I'm disappointed every time.

She seems to hate her job, and people in general. I would not go back to this viper if her services were free.

Dr Jain was my family care Doctor for years in Sacramento. I moved away and just moved back to Sacramento and I am re-establishing care with her. She is an outstanding doctor, knowledgeable and caring. She took took care of my children when they left pediatrics till they left for college. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Jain is extremely thorough, checking all areas of the body for any abnormalities. She listens and asks questions to detect any physical, emotional or mental concerns. As her patient, I feel that she has a strong connection to me as her patient, and she demonstrates a very dedicated interest in my continued good health. In my opinion she is an excellent physician and I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family.
