Dr. Sunitha Gubbala, MD

Dr Gubbala has been my physician for many years and I strongly recommend her to others. She is caring, kind, knowledgeable and she takes the time to listen. Her referrals to specialists have been excellent, too.

Dr. Gubbala has been my primary care physician for more than 17 years. As an board-certified internist, she is knowledgeable, capable and caring. She encourages preventive medicine, but when an intervention is needed, she provides it or makes an appropriate referral to her network of competent specialists. Her cultural background complements the "traditional" American practice of medicine. In diversity we receive more -- if there is any bias, it is has been in the right direction. In her "bias" on prevention, she gives motivational pushes toward gaining the patient's responsibility over their own health. In this quest, she is both an educator and physician of the highest caliber.

She is very carring and listens carefully to what you say. She really cares about her patients

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Gubbala’s for years but am considering leaving. She ok- knowledgble but can be dismissive. The office has beacons a nightmare though- high staff turnover, no one answers the phone- you’re routed to VM & there’s a 50/50 chance you’ll get a call back. VERY long wait to see the Dr (1.5-2 months) but still accepting new patients- so seems it will get worse.

Dr. Gubbala is a excellent medical professional, in my opinion. She is very present during examination, with a calm demeanor and willingness to listen with great intent. I am so grateful she is my physician. Simply a lovely human being and I wish there were many more like her practicing in primary care. She is a gem.

Dr. Gubbala ALWAYS takes the time to really listen to me and offer various plans of care. I also like the fact that when you arrive in the office, there is a board that tells if the doctor is running on time or if there will be a delay - and how long the delay will be. Only once in all the years that I've been going to her, has there been a delay - due to an emergency.

Dr. Gubbala addresses any/all of your concerns. She listens to her patients and also allows for your input of your care. I feel I can totally trust her with my health care. She is there for u as her patient.
