Kidney issues

Dr. Kolla was great both in my office visit and the surgery he performed . I appreciated his candid demeanor and common sense communication which made talking about sensitive things very easy from a male perspective. You are in good hands with this guy. Nice man.

Absolute nightmare. Attempted kidney stone removed but was not successful. Did NOT leave orders for pain medication with the hospital for me post surgery and I was in unbearable pain for over an hour while nurses tried to contact him to prescribe painkillers. Who leaves a patient without any post-surgery pain management??? I also developed an infection post surgery, another painful experience. I switched to a different Urologist who was able to remove the stone, manage pain, and clear up the infection - it was a night and day experience.

He made feel like he really wants to make sure people are healthy.

I needed a prescription refilled and the pharmacy said to call my doctor and so I did. I tried to talk to a nurse and left messages every day for 5 days. Nobody returned my calls and so I asked to talk to a nurse and they would not even talk to me. I finally called and they told me the doctor would call me back and he never did. It was a nightmare trying to talk to anyone and so after 8 days of trying to get a hold of someone I gave up and went to the Wichita Urology Group. These are an excellent group of doctors and competent nurses. The same thing happened a month earlier when I had another issue and I called and they said someone would call me back and I waited a week and heard nothing; no doctor and no nurse called; so apparently to them it was not worth checking out or getting labs done although it was concerning to me. I'll have my new doctor check it out to see what was missed. Kolla and his gang of nurses don't care about the patients they are just there for the checks.

Dr. Kolla was polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to others! He got to the root of my issue within 10 minutes of discussing my symptoms. I Can't say enough good things about him. The wait time was awesome as well-right on time for my appointment.

He is the worst doctor I've ever met. I was sent by my primary care doctor to see him, and he told me even if the doest all the test in the world he still won't know what is my problem. He said he will prescribe me a medication to see if it helps but never did. I got a big bill from the hospital for a usesless visit. I really regretted seeing this doctor.
