Condescending
My son has a rare genetic disorder that I wouldn’t expect any doctor to be knowledgeable in. However Dr. Gurbani was also rude, condescending, and disregarded any information I had regarding my son. He didn’t ask any questions, take a history, or even see my son. He changed my in person appointment to a video appointment. It was more than unhelpful. He said he is “just a general pediatric neurologist” so I asked if he could make a referral to a specialist and he said no. My son is actively going blind and has lost most of his hearing. Don’t be a doctor if you don’t want to be a doctor.

Quick yet thorough
After reading other reviews, I felt it very necessary to add my own option and experience. My son has seen Dr Gurbani for a few years now. Both my son and I are epileptic. I'm familiar with different meds and different tests. Dr Gurbani has answered all my questions and explain whatever I didn't understand. He is very kind and tries to make the kids feel comfortable. You get in and get out. Any times I've had a specific request or question, he has always been able to answer my questions. Together we agree on the best course of action for my son. Definitely will continue to see Dr Gurbani,

We saw Dr. Garbani for my son, and he was completely unprofessional. He was very condescending, and disregarded every concern we had about his development & seizures, and refused to do any further testing to investigate my son’s issues. Instead said we should just medicate him when he has problems. He said my son’s issues weren’t seizure related, but could be due to “cosmic, electromatic waves from a car alarm or something when you were pregnant?” He seriously said that to me. What a joke of Dr.

We had an appointment for my son with Dr. Gurbani. He was kind, polite, and funny putting my son (and his parents) much as ease. We are appreciative all the quality time he spent with us and discussing the next steps.

When discussing putting my child on medication for epilepsy, he was really unhelpful. Told him how my child has a difficult time taking medicine and he said, "fine, there are 25 medication, you tell me what to do." Ummm, I thought he was suppose to be the expert, not me. Seeking another neurologist currently.
