Wow, what a wonderful doctor’s visit. Dr Julka was super friendly, compassionate, listened without me feeling rushed, and spent time explaining every detail. A couple days later when he called to follow up on CT scan, I again had the same experience. It’s really great to see this level of personal care is still being offered, even though it doesn’t happen very often with many doctors today. Also, the office staff was very friendly and made the visit comfortable as well.

Very uncaring and poor bedside manner.
He seemed uncaring and had poor bedside manner. I felt rushed, Office staff are asleep at the wheel. I will be going elsewhere.

Poor quality of care and terrible bedside manner!
I was experiencing respiratory issue and congestion from possibly one of the current forms of issues this winter (i.e. Covid/Flu/RSV). This issue was on-going for several weeks. Saw Dr. Julka as he was my pulmonologist for years at the recommendation of Urgent Care and my Primary. He was basically non responsive and thru his hands up saying he couldn't treat me. He was quite disrespectful and as a result I am having difficulty getting care from my primary and urgent care as they keep referring me to my pulmonologist. I am in an endless loop and no resolution in sight. This has been going on for almost 1 month. Definitely don't recommend seeing him. Very uncaring and poor bedside manner.

Very poor bedside manner
He replaced my last doctor and his bedside manner is truly awful. I have lung nodules that are being watched and the previous doctor said not to worry. Dr Julka scared me about them. They turned out to be nothing. He is gruff and condescending. I told the nurse I didn't want to know my weight and he told me and shamed me. He talks into his recorder spouting off information in a judgemental shameful way. Repeating the same information visit after visit. He is terrible.

Find another provider, this practice wastes your time and plays games. Not worth the hassle.

Dr. Julka and his staff are amazing. Dr. Julka takes his time with you and you never feel rushed. He has a great personality and explains his credentials to you, Going to see him is like seeing a good friend you can trust. The staff takes time to assist you with everything and his nurse is wonderful, she gives the pulmonary tests and she makes you feel so comfortable. I had my first visit with Dr. Julka in Westminster, MD, for sleep apnea. He was a Top Doc in 2016 and once you meet him you will understand why. He is very mild mannered, easy to talk to and understand, and professional.
