Honestly felt a little rushed.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Dr Abbott. From the start I felt dismissed and invalidated when discussing my symptoms of my chronic illness that interfere with might daily life as well as other concerns I brought up. She repeatedly stated that she had never had a patient with my condition have these symptoms interfere with their life and made me feel as though my experiences were not valid. Instead of addressing my concerns and approaching what I was saying with compassion, Dr Abbott simply brushed off everything I said and just told me to keep showing up which was incredibly unhelpful. It was disheartening to have a medical professional minimize my experiences with chronic illness rather than take me seriously. I believe that doctors should prioritize listening and understanding, especially when dealing with chronic conditions. I would recommend seeking a doctor who truly values patient experiences and provides the support needed for those with chronic illness.

First time in two years where physician listens to how symptomology experienced is affecting work, home, and ability to socialize and expediting care

Everytime I have an appointment, it's rushed. I lost faith in Dr. Abbott when a particular issue I was having, I reached out to her with a message through MyChart. It was answered with the same sentence as always, 'Make an appointment'. I did. The particular issue I wanted addressed, I asked about 2 years before I experienced a near life-ending event, just recently. It could have been taken more seriously with a simple referral to a specialist. I will continue to see Dr. Abbott for simple care issues, however, I will not recommend her to anyone. I am in the health care field and I now will put more trust in my own knowledge and advocate more deeply for my own health concerns.

I appreciate the compassionate care that Dr Abbott provides. Always efficient, but attentive during my visit

Dr Abbott had no interest in hearing her assistant Paige is dismissive. She said I was not describing Paige. Dr. Abbott was aware my shoulder is painful but did not examine or treat my shoulder. We agreed we were not a match and no future appointments would be scheduled. I should have checked her Health Grade score of 3.7 before scheduling a new patient appointment.
