Dr. Beland was my attending Dr at UAMS and she dismissed my emergent medical condition. She unethically refused to provide the appropriate level of care and discharged me prior to receiving my imaging reports. She walked out of my room smirking one day and after rounding on me two times, she was clueless as to what was wrong with me and could not get rid of me fast enough. I am beyond disappointed that I received negligent care for a rapidly progressing condition and was refused treatment and sent home with a referral 2 months out with. Specialist. I thought UAMS provided a bigger level of care than this.

Dr. Susan Beland's performance fell short of the standard of care for this locality (Little Rock, AR). I would not recommend her to any friends, family, or even my worst enemy. She has poor communication skills, and even a poorer job with respect to listening to her patients.
