I highly recommend Dr Cortesi . She has operated on me twice, once in 2016 and again 2 weeks ago. Both surgeries have been completely successful and have brought me much relief from the debilitating pain my disease inflicts. Not only has she the surgical skills to address my needs but she has also researched my rare disease to assist me in dealing with it. I don't know of many surgeons that go to that length to assist their patients especially when it could potentially reduce my need of future surgeries. Her care, compassion, concern, exceptional surgical skills and willingness to expand her knowledge for the care of her patients is beyond stellar, it is epic. Thank you Dr Cortesi for being so exceptional.

I saw Dr. Cortesi regarding my hernia. She took the time to talk to me, listen to me and my complaints, but most importantly Dr. Cortesi was NOT in a hurry to quickly see me, listen to me then move on 2 next patient. I am sure there are other surgeon's who illustrate the same kindness, respect and caring Dr. Cortesi illustrated with me, but they are far and few. Having had over 30 orthopedic surgeries I've met many who see you as "just another patient" Having had so many previous surgeries with many other surgeon's I can speak with confidence Dr. Cortesi is a rare breed of doctors who make want you to know you are important to her. Truly amazing and I feel truly blessed to have someone to be under her care. Thank you! In baseball, the best are selected to the All-Star game. I wish I could give her 10 Stars for she truly is an All-Star and perhaps a Hall of Fame surgeon in her field.

This was my first visit to Dr. Cortesi and I adore her!! She is the best doctor I have ever gone to. She was personable and compassionate and understanding about my health issues. She explained what she was doing throughout her exam. She explained all my options to me and gave me the choice to wait-and-see or to move forward with surgery - no pressure. I really connected with this doctor. I felt like she was my friend - like I had known her for years. I recommend her highly.

I needed a large excision of a ruptured cyst. I asked my PCP for a recommendation to the best female general surgeon he knew. He recommended Dr. Cortesi.. I am so glad! She did a superb job removing a difficult cyst with an attached structure. She skillfully closed the incision such that there is minimal scarring, and such that the incision line follows a natural crease on my body. I had less pain than anticipated. Dr, Cortesi is very pleasant, and is respectful of one's neeed for privacy

In September 2016, I needed surgery to repair a hernia. Dr. Cortesi was highly recommended by my primary care doc. I met with Dr. Cortesi to discuss my surgery and found her to be very caring and easy to talk to. She took plenty of time to discuss my surgical options and possible complications. Surgery was done as an outpatient, and I had no complications afterwards. Clearly, Dr. Cortesi is a skilled surgeon who truly cares about her patients- and she's a lot of fun to talk to!

Dr. Cortesi is a genius and a magician. She performed open surgery left side inguinal hernia repair on me September 1, 2016. I am a 70 years old male who had had the right side surgery done in another state 18 months prior. In that prior surgery I experienced many of the problems common to this type of surgery. This time, however, the difference was dramatically different. No bruising, no pain at the incision, no need for a catheter. Dr. Cortesi has my unqualified recommendation.
