Dr. Susan Laufer, MD

My children have been patients of Advanced Pediatrics for over seven years now. Today (a Sunday) , Dr. Laufer, happened to be the doctor on call. I explained to her that my child was showing signs of pink eye and that we were on vacation. At which time she told me that she did not have the accessibility to call in a prescription. Furthermore she told me that she had received 25 calls “on her day off.” I explained to her that she chose her profession. Her insensitivity and Unfazed attitude that my son would possibly infect my daughter is truly disheartening. I am extremely dissatisfied with her level of care and in the past when she is the only pediatrician who has had an opening I am not impressed with her bedside manners. It’s a shame that she is giving Advanced Pediatrics a bad name.

She was very fast and super sweet

We saw Dr. Laufer for a year and a half and she may be very knowledgeable but seems very distant. Every time we saw her she introduced herself like we had never met. She never seemed to even remotely remember my daughter and would always ask us what the appointment was for. The practice she is with, Pediatric Associates, is a large assembly line, you are only a number practice. All waits were over an hour, last time had 2:45 appointment and left at 5:20 without seeing the doctor
