Unsettling
I took my elderly mother to see Dr Lyons after she had been through 2 lumpectomies and a mastectomy. I found Dr Lyons to be very arrogant. Her office staff were very short and Dr Lyons seemed to be quite put out by clarifying questions . I found her bedside manner to be lacking. I would definitely choose another doctor if you are seeking warmth and compassion.

I’m alive today because of Dr. Lyons
Eight years ago this month Dr Lyons diagnosed my Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and began treatment. Dr Lyons is a very skilled oncologist and an excellent doctor. She is very concerned for her patients and is very approachable. I moved to a different state after two months with Dr Lyons, but without her care I would not be alive today.

Excellent Cancer Doctor !!!
Dr Lyons is a warm, caring, pleasant person. She is very knowledgeable and will do her best to accommodate your every need. She is very detail oriented with your care, so you will get the best, and she is a wonderful listener. Very highly recommend her !!! Thank You Dr Lyons !!

Communications
I would like someone to tell me why my sister, who is in her care and undergoing chemotherapy, cannot get the office to return a phone call when she needs an answer to a medical condition that arises or to schedule an appointment. If they do return a phone call - it is only after repeated attempts and the next day. This is just unacceptable.

I was hospitalized with stage 4 multiple myeloma cancer. She worked diligently every day to find the right treatment and was at my bedside every day to give me hope and report on my progress for recovery. I am now in my third year of remission and enjoying life again. She continues to monitor my health with periodic check-ups. She has a warm personality, easy to talk with and puts the patient first when providing treatment.

I cannot say enough about Dr Lyons. On my long journey with multiple health issues she has been my rock. She makes you feel as if you are her only patient. Dr Lyons is compassionate, extremely bright and always willing to seek the next level of care for her patients. She listens and you know that you are being heard. I am so grateful everyday that she is my doctor. She is a special person.

I'll admit I had some scheduling changes...most were done in advance and always with a phone call within 24-48 hrs or more. I finally make it and my appointment was canceled, unbeknownst to me, before I got there. She refused to see me. I found that pretty unprofessional...
