Dr. Susan Mattison, DPM

Years ago she was a decent podiatrist but recently I broke went back to her. To some degree at first she tried to address my concerns but her behavior disintegrated into speaking to me like a 3rd grade teacher shaming a child rather than as an injured person in need of compassion. Among other things, she ended up taking a perfectly good cast off and putting on a new one that was painful. Finally we went to another podiatrist who took that cast off and said I should never have been wearing it and got me on a better path to healing. I left out many details of what dealing with Dr Mattison was like because there are just too many. Suffice it to say, she may have been a good doctor in the past but now she is just mean and uncaring and there are other kinder better podiatrists out there. Stay away.

I went to get a diagnosis on my injured foot and within 2 minutes of conversation with DR. Mattison I wanted to leave . I feel she is extremely arrogant and rude with a sloppy demeanor. I decided to leave after she seemed uninterested in my foot but asked me about my insurance. Not a professional place it seems and office needs updating badly. Trust me, see another doctor.

I am writing this review because I am very pleased with the quality of care I am receiving from Dr. Susan Mattison. I had seen another podiatrist who misdiagnosed an inflamed toe and prescribed a potentially dangerous treatment plan. Dr. Mattison diagnosed the problem and is giving me the proper care I need. It is important to have a doctor who takes the time to listen, fully understands your needs and is compassionate. Dr. Mattison is very professional, very knowledgeable and genuinely cares about her patients. All of these attributes make her an exceptional doctor.

She was the most arrogant, stuck up lazy doctor I ever met. I almost cursed her out. She was so disgusting. That's what the public gets for making her rich. I had posted a review about her on a local website, and 2 other past FEMALE patients agreed with me, so It just can't be me.

The doctor was very condescending and wouldn't listen to my concerns. She took an xray and still squeezed where the fracture was on my ankle. She sent me on my way in a walking boot. I got a second opinion and it was determined my ankle was fractured in THREE places and on it's way to healing - not any thanks to Susan.

Both Drs here--my experience was they got an idea in their head & wouldn't listen to my concerns. Treating symptoms not the problem. Condescending.
