Facial skin cancer removal.
Dr. Mc Gillis did excellent surgery removing squamous skin cancer from my face. She did not spend a lot of time talking but was efficient & professional.

Tried to make a appointment, the customer service rep was curt and rude. Mentioned something this office didn't do dermatogy any longer just cancer removal surgery. This office is only the dermatologist on my health insurance panel. I met the doctor once before and she was rude when my child had to have skin lesion removed off their face and it didn't work the first time. Then it was big deal to get them to stick by the warranty of free 2nd zap. Office like this doesn't seem to like to be pleasant

I found Dr. McGillis to be dishonest and misleading. She's adept at milking insurance claims; Highly unethical along with the rest of her office assistants who seem to prey on unknowing & vulnerable patients . I went there to have a simple skin tag removed. When I met her she told me before the examination that she would only examine & document the area and would first submit a photograph over to the insurance company before removing it. Instead, what she did next was completely unexpected and unethical. Instead of looking at the area as she initially stated - she proceeded to remove the skin tag in one clean swoop against what we initially agreed upon. Dr. McGillis you know what you did wrong! You have some nerve what you pulled and anyone reading this best advise is to stay away from this practice!

I accompanied my wife on her initial appointment to see Dr. McGillis. Shocked by the brusque, impatient, scolding demeanor of Dr. McGillis' assistant, my wife cancelled the appointment without ever seeing the doctor. My wife took one look in my direction and then cancelled the reservation on the spot. This, despite the fact that she has been diagnosed with skin cancer and is eager to pursue a cure. The assistant's tone can best be described as she was inconvenienced by our arrival and my wife was fortunate to have been granted an audience with the doctor. For all we know, Dr. McGillis is a warm-hearted, patient, medical genius. If so, she needs to address the behaviors of her staff.

I would not recommend Dr. McGillis. It was my first time visiting a dermatologist in a long time and she did not make me feel comfortable. She was cold, very abrupt, and left the room so quickly I barely had a chance to say goodbye. I've never left any appointment so discouraged.

Had not seen a dermatologist in a while and just wanted an all over check up. I only had a spot or two I had questions about. The dr couldn’t get done telling me how sun damaged my skin was, I tried to tell her this is not a tan, I was born brown, she would have no parts of anything I had to say. So I didn’t get to ask my questions. I will never go back to her.

I will not recommend this doctor to family and friends but that was not an option. I should have read the reviews before making an appointment with this physician. She could not have appeared less interested in meeting with me. It was my first appointment and she spent less than a minute in the room before turning and walking out. Could not have been any more abrasive and abrupt.

Dr. McGillis is very good at communication and has a great bed-side manner. I find her to be warm and open which is rare for any physician these days. They are all in such a hurry and Dr. McGillis takes what ever time is needed to ensure that you understand any, and all, procedures.
