Compassionate, Thorough, Professional
Dr. Panah listened to all my concerns and made me feel understood. She was able to help me figure out what was going on with me efficiently and put my worries at ease. Unlike most, Dr. Panah really cares and is a wonderful physician.

An honest, forthright review. Choose elsewhere!
I will not bore everyone with the descriptive details of my experience, but in a short summary Dr. Panah took over Dr. Buschman's patients in Mt. Lebanon, PA once he retired. She was the worst physician, by far, that I've ever dealt with. She shows minimal concern or real care for her patients, she cancels appointments, double books, changes her ER and holiday schedule without regard or notice, doesn't follow-up, or even remember who her patients are, she forgets to call in bloodwork, forgets what was spoken about with patient, doesn't return phone calls, is basically oblivious of her practice simply functioning from one day to the next, one appointment to the next. Low quality care, unimpressive bedside manner, demonstrates a lack of interest... in all honesty, you can find better care just about anywhere. Please don't waste your time, patience, or money.

She strolled into the office after my MD retired for my first visit with her. She would not continue to prescribe my medications and blamed me for waiting to get an appointment even though it took me three months to get in with her. She told me it was my fault and stated that my toddler was just a bad excuse to avoid rushing to the MD. She was rude, volatile, and unprofessional. I would not recommend her to a dog I liked.

Unhelpful didn't seem to care
Dr barely asked any questions nor provide any insight. Felt like she just wanted to get out, had to call several times over two weeks to get a script called in.

She billed me for wellness check
My PCP left the practice, so I scheduled my wellness check with Dr. Panah b/c she was available. She was lovely. She was asked several questions, and I didn't feel like she was rushing off to the next patient. Little did I know that b/c an issue came up during our conversation, that my wellness check turned into a billable visit, including the annual blood work. She wrote an Rx for a colonoscopy; at my age, I'm due for a baseline anyway. I am 100% certain I'm going to be billed $1k+ for the procedure b/c the Rx was not written as baseline/preventative - it was for cause. Docs are ENCOURAGED to do this. I am furious and will never go back to St. Clair Medical Group - Internal Medicine. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SAY DURING A WELLNESS VISIT

Cold, Rude, Does not Listen
My first visit: Dr. Panah asked many non-medical questions first, but did not listen to answers. Instead, she scornfully dismissed my responses. Finally, she got to a question re: the rare disease I was needing help with. However, she still was motivated to negate all my answers, even a personal experience she had no way of knowing about. (That personal experience can be validated the national organization for that rare disease and by numerous other patients, pharmacists and doctors and educators within that national organization.). She stated, “that disease is on the Medical Boards, so everyone should know!” She essentially and rudely called me a liar. I do NOT recommend Dr. Panah to any patient. Especially for patients who are knowledgeable about their diseases.

Not a chance would I ever recommend! Should not be a doctor! Your better off self-diagnosing! Always get a second opinion! She does not listen to her patients. Talks negative about her patients to other patients.
